Putting your weight on the 'rotation' of the pelvis
is the secret of Hip-Up Shoes.

Inside the sole of Hip-Up Shoes,'Torque generator' as you walk through theconverts your weight into rotational force of the pelvis.. As your weight is applied to the pelvis, instead of straining your knees, your pelvis and surrounding gluteal muscles are used.

- When the pelvis rotates with each step,
- the bent (inward-facing)knee faces forward,
- and bowed legs and a curved spine are straightened.
The reason this part is called a 'torque generator'
is because torquemeans rotational force.

With just one pair of shoes, by stimulating only the pelvis,
You can correct your legs and waist as well?

Yes, that's right. Because of the organically connectedcompensatory mechanism of our body. When the pelvis tilts, the waist, neck, and shoulders move out of alignment to compensate, causing the hips to stick out or the knees to twist. Those who have tried working out will know. Even if you try to exercise with the correct posture, if your body is already misaligned, you end up feeling pain in your elbows or knees instead of the target area.
This is exactly what compensation is. Rather than the problematic area, the poorly adapted area starts to hurt. Thisis why we focused on correcting the pelvis, the starting point of compensation and the center of our body,.
The real muscles needed for daily hip-up
are not the gluteus maximus or medius, but 'here'.

The postural muscles needed for hip-up are not the gluteus maximus. They are the six pairs of muscles located inside, the hip external rotators. These muscles allow the legs, which are turned inward, to return to their proper position(external rotation).

Because these muscles are hard to use due to poor posture, they gradually weaken, causing the legs to turn inward as a compensatory action and resulting in pain every time you walk.

However, when the hip external rotator muscles are strengthened,
- As the hip external rotator muscles start to be used,The gluteal muscles are strengthened and
- as the legs are corrected, the thigh muscles are used properly, trimming excess fat and
- when the pelvis, which was tilted forward, stands upright, the organs that were pushed forward return to their proper place, and belly fat is also reduced.

Your own personal posture correction coach
Fits right into the shoes you wear every day

There is no need to set aside extra time to exercise. If you walk in Hip-up Shoes during your daily commute or a light walk after meals, your gluteal muscles, which used to sag, will be engaged, giving you a confident silhouette from behind.
Compared to the limitations of insoles,
The effect is incomparable
Posture-correcting insoles are quite popular these days, right? But compared to Hip-up Shoes, their effect is inevitably minimal.
This is due to four main limitations. In short, it can be summarized as follows.
If insoles are an auxiliary tool,
Hip-up Shoes address the root cause
Because it is a solution.

| Insole | Gen2Walk |
①Limitations of functional scope | Arch and heel angle support
| Designed to stimulate hip external rotator muscles
|
②Limitations of action location | Acts on the sole of the foot
| Directly acts on the starting point of posture (hip joint)
|
③Limitations of exercise effect | Static support, no muscle stimulation
| Transforms walking itself into a hip joint exercise
|
④Compatibility issues | Significant variation in effectiveness depending on the shoes
| Integrated functional design within the shoes themselves

Total development cost of 3.7 billion KRW 28 years of dedication
Delivering the same correction as seen in hospitals

I am the maker of Gentowalk, the company that creates Hip-up Shoes,A specialist in rehabilitation medicine This is who I am.
In 1998, at a conference, I was the first to announce that the key to postural imbalance isthe external rotator muscles of the hip. I developed the Stylex, a posture aid for clinics worth about 4 million KRW,and supplied it to over 300 hospitals. This is what I did.

For the development of this posture aid alone,I invested 3 billion KRW over 15 years, and for the Gentowalk Hip-up Shoes,a total of 700 million KRW over 4 years. I put that much effort into it. That's how serious I am about posture correction. It's directly related to long-term health.
Technology once used only in hospitals
For the transformation of more people

Now, that Reduced the size of the corrector to 1/600 and, the price to 1/20 lower, so that anyone can have a daily posture correction coachto meet. We made it possible.

This is the torque-generating device and heel plate (sole) actually used in the Hip-Up Shoes.
- The posture corrector Stylex: If you used to stand on a machine and exercise following the guide,
- Hip-Up Shoes: with every step you take, the torque-generating device guides your gait and helps you exercise.

The principle of the posture corrector took a full four years to apply to shoes. It took a long time. After countless trials and errors, we were finally able to develop the torque generation device.
And by developing more prototypes, we achieved a weight of 700g.A weight similar to regular sneakers so the discomfort from the weight while walking could be minimized.
Our technology has already been proven.
Even clinically proven Kegel exercise effects

Winner of the 2023 Korea Invention Patent Exhibition, and the principle has been verified for Kegel effects through university hospital clinical trials. How did we manage to win an award?
By correcting the external rotator muscles of the hip,
such changes can occur,
because we have proven it!

Isn't it amazing just to see the results? You can keep your usual lifestyle habits, and just by correcting your posture, you can see your muscles and body line improve! Although I developed it, I feel so proud and delighted every time users show amazing changes.

FAQ
Q. I heard there is some rotation when walking. Is it uncomfortable?
A. When you first wear the shoes, you may feel a sense of torque (rotational feeling) inside, but most people get used to it within 2 or 3 days.
Some people may say they don't feel a difference, but regardless of your perception, your hip external rotator muscles are being exercised, so there is no need to worry. Sensitive individuals may even enjoy the sensation of their hip external rotator muscles tensing as the torque is delivered to the hip joint.
The rotational force when your weight is applied to the torque generator is mostly absorbed between your foot or sock, and the actual rotation angle is less than 5 degrees.
Q. Do the shoes have a height-increasing effect?
A. Since the torque generator is built in, the shoes themselves provide a 4cm height increase, and as your posture is corrected, you may gain additional height as well.
Q. How many hours can I wear them per day?
A. We recommend gradually increasing your usage time to 10 minutes per day during the first week. Therefore, wearing them only indoors during the first week can also be a good approach.
Because you are exercising the hip external rotator muscles, which are rarely used, you may occasionally feel muscle tightness inside your hips. In this case, rest for a day or two until the tightness subsides, then try again.
Most users can wear them all day like regular shoes starting from the second week without any issues.
Q. Is it safe for pregnant women to wear them?
A. Even if pregnant women have back pain, it is difficult to treat due to the fetus. In fact, I would recommend them even more for pregnant women, whether for prevention or if you already have back pain.
Enjoy the benefits of Kegel exercises, which help with postpartum body recovery and urinary incontinence. However, please be sure to gradually increase your usage time during the first week.
Q. Isn't the heel plate (sole) too hard?
A. Instead of insoles, Hip-up Shoes are equipped with a 'heel plate.'
The heel plate serves the role of a traditional insole and is necessary to transfer your weight to the product's core technology, the 'torque generator.' It can also function as an 'arch support' for those with flat feet or foot pain.
The 'arch support' prescribed in hospitals is even harder and has almost no cushioning compared to the heel plate, but just as it can actually help prevent pain and provide comfort for flat feet and long-distance walking, those who are used to cushioned insoles can also adapt without difficulty.
Q. Are they helpful for running?
A. Hip-up Shoes were developed for walking, and their effectiveness while running depends on your landing method.
They may help when landing on the midfoot or heel, but not at all when landing on the forefoot. Even with midfoot or heel landing, your knees do not fully extend as they do when walking, so the effect is less than when walking.
Q. Why does the hip-up effect start first?
A. Changes in posture and body shape due to strengthening the hip external rotator muscles begin around the pelvis, where these muscles are located. Posture is a three-dimensional state involving muscles, bones, and fat, and changes around the pelvis organically affect the entire body.

Hello. I am Kyungbae Seo, the CEO of Gen2Walk.
As a specialist in rehabilitation medicine, I have spent the past 28 years researching where people's poor posture begins to break down.
As a result,I discovered that the core of posture problems lies in a muscle called the hip external rotator. I developed a hospital-grade posture corrector (Stylex) to strengthen this muscle and supplied it to over 300 hospitals.
However, the price of 4 million won and the structural limitation of being available only in hospitals were major barriers to helping more people.
So I made a decision.
To enable anyone to improve their posture in daily life, simply by walking every day, I decided to incorporate this technology into shoes.
That is how the 'Gen2Walk Hip-Up Shoes' were born.
Reason for Coming to Wadiz
At Wadiz,I came to meet those who want to experience this technology first and be transformed. That is why I am here.
I hope that each and every step will become a change that creates true posture.
Experience the sensation of your body changing with every step. Start with Hip-Up Shoes.
