These are domestic Byeonsan buckwheat hulls. Compared to Russian or American ones, the grains are much larger and firmer, allowing the cushion to maintain its shape for a long time.
These are Russian buckwheat hulls, which tend to crumble easily. Even though it increases production costs, we chose domestic Byeonsan buckwheat.

Hello, supporters! This is Yogaroun Maker.

I am a student learning meditation from Sejun Sunim, and a yogini who has practiced yoga for over ten years. Currently, I practice meditation and yoga myself and share it with many others.
I always experienced the same discomfort during practice. My legs would go numb every time I sat in meditation, and focusing on posture made it hard to concentrate on meditation itself. I tried many cushions in search of a good one, but none were satisfying. In the end, I decided to make one myself.
This cushion was perfected by personally sitting on it dozens of times, adjusting the angle, and changing materials. As both a practitioner and a teacher, I created a cushion I would want to use for every meditation session.
I hope this cushion will be a small help in your practice as well. ๐
The reason I came to Wadiz
- The reason I chose Wadiz is simple.
I wanted this cushion to reach those who truly need it first.
This product was created to solve the discomfort that anyone practicing meditation or yoga has experienced at least once. That is why the reactions of actual users were most important. Rather than large distribution channels, I thought crowdfunding, where I could meet interested supporters first and receive direct feedback, was the best fit for this product.
There is also another honest reason. Since this is a product made with care on a small scale, I wanted to first see how many people could relate to it. Your participation as supporters is what enables this cushion to reach more practitioners.
Please join us in this first step of creating together. ๐
