Introduction of the maker and the reason for coming to Wadiz
Hello, we are the Nonsense team.
Learning a foreign language is always a challenging task.
Memorizing vocabulary, repeating grammar... It quickly became exhausting, and soon I wanted to give up.
At that time, what actually helped the most was not the textbook but 'movies'.
Watching Hollywood movies for hours was not difficult at all; in fact, it was fun.
As I became immersed, I started to understand the lines and familiar expressions began to stick.
That experience opened up new possibilities in our lives.
Nonsense started from that point.
"If we learn a language through movies we love, couldn't we learn longer, more enjoyably, and more authentically?"
We aim to create not just a simple language learning app, but an 'immersive experience'.
Not through words, but through scenes. Not through repetition, but through memorable emotions.
This funding is not just about selling subscriptions.
It is an important starting point for Nonsense to create its first large-scale connection with Korean users.
Beyond simply selling app subscriptions, we have designed a participatory package called the '100-Day Movie English Habit Challenge'
so that you can steadily, enjoyably, and effectively build your English skills.
