Basic stand provided for stable display

The stand provided as standard helps maintain a stable posture and assists with display.

Please secure the wire in the gap so it does not move.

Power is connected via USB, and you can turn the light on and off with a single switch.

It is convenient as it can be connected anywhere, such as next to the bed, on a desk, or even to a computer.

Mogak is a safe, low-power light, but it is not a toy.

Keep out of reach of children and handle with care.

Do not lift the Mokak by the cord. When moving it, hold the body of the Mokak.

Mokak is not an import distributor.From design to production, everything is made directly by the owner.

Therefore, we take full responsibility for repairs as well.

And don't worry.Mokak is actually quite sturdy despite its appearance.

Unlike typical wooden products that are only glued together,The joints are firmly connected with bolts and nuts.

It is resistant to impact and does not come apart easily.

Still, if any part happens to get damaged,If you use a little wood glue or instant adhesive and fix it for about a day, You can repair it easily and quickly.

But! If even that is difficult, just send it to us.

We made Mokak, so of course we know best how to fix it.

💡 What if the bulb goes out?

Don't panic if Mokak's light goes out. It's just taking a short break.

If the bulb is broken or has reached the end of its life, you can purchase a replacement bulb directly from the Mokak website.

❗ Commercially available bulbs may not work.

Mokkak operates with a low-power structure. Therefore, if you use a regular 220V bulb, the light may not turn on or it could strain the internal circuit. That’s why we have designed and produced a special low-power bulb exclusively for Mokkak, ensuring it fits perfectly and can be used safely. By simply replacing the bulb, you can once again enjoy the warm glow of Mokkak.

Note! The bulb’s lifespan is similar to that of a regular LED bulb. It lasts for about 15,000 to 20,000 hours.

Maker Introduction

I studied wooden design and wood carving in Germany, where I began making bamboo bicycles. After returning to Korea, I established the brand 'Holzrad' and created bicycles that combined artistry and functionality, receiving much attention through appearances on various TV shows such as <Master of Living>.

However, throughout that journey, I always pondered one thing.

'How can I imbue objects with deeper meaning?'

And now,The work that contains the story I most want to share is **'Mokkak'**.

I believe that everyone has their own hidden, sparkling light.

Mokkak tells the story of finding the light within oneself and shining it on others.

Mokkak was born at the end of a Yeonhui-dong alley, in a small workshop filled with the scent of wood.

Selecting the wood, carving each piece, fitting the joints, installing the bulb, assembling, and polishing—every step of the process.

—From head to toe, there is no part untouched by hand.

An 87-step process, 100% handmade.

Eyes, mouth, expressions, gestures…

This is why each Mokkak has a slightly different feel.

The moment the light turns on, it feels as if life has been breathed into that small body.

If you thought it was a product easily made just because it looks small and cute, that's a big misconception.

Many people think that larger furniture is harder to make, but in reality, the smaller the parts, the more difficult they are to process.

Even the slightest deviation in precision makes assembly impossible.

In reality, it does not move on its own. The video was staged to better show the movement of the joints.

Mokkak is designed and crafted so that up to 23 parts (based on Bandi) work together with great precision.

That's why the arms, elbows, and legs can all move.It can sit, it can stand,It can stretch its legs out or do the splits sideways. It can also raise its arm and reach out its hand.

will develop Mokak's customizable clothing series

and begin work on an animation that can tell Mokak's story.

Beyond the form of lighting, we want to convey the meaning of 'a being that becomes light' through Mokak in many more ways.
