π We turn the treasures of the sea into treasures of everyday life.
I grew up passing by piles of oyster shells. I closed the windows because of the stench, and I grew up watching the wrinkled hands of elders working at the farms.
Tongyeong and Geoje, where we were born,account for most of the oyster production in Korea, and at the same time,are the places where environmental issues and regional conflicts caused by oyster shells are most deeply rooted, as well.
Calma Nostra is a team that started at the heart of that problem. We have faced oyster shells head-on and have been researching eco-friendly materials for over ten years.
In the milky white of discarded oyster shells, we recalled not National Treasure No. 1 or No. 2,but the unique aesthetic of this land, which possesses three National Treasure moon jars,. A material that is a bit unfamiliar, yet comforting.
A form imbued with nature, tradition, hands, and timeβall of these things.
We engrave the language of craft and sensibility onto waste from the sea,and revive it as an object for everyday life. Based on accumulated experience in distribution, strategy, branding, content, and social innovation, Calma Nostrasets a new standard where sustainability and beauty coexist. We want to create it.

Plan for Use of Funds
- Product/Technology/Service Advancement: Improvement of diffuser product functions and expansion of fragrance lines
Based on feedback from pre-order supporters, we plan to upgrade usability and design, and diversify fragrance lines by season and mood to present them to supporters again. - Enhancement of eco-friendly material molding technology
We will expand molding stability tests for shell-based composite materials and prepare for a transition to mass production by improving mold and production process efficiency. - Market Expansion and Sales Channel Development: Expansion of domestic and international distribution networks
Based on products that receive positive responses from supporters, we will expand entry into domestic and international online and offline distribution channels such as select shops, museum gift shops, and beauty/lifestyle specialty stores to increase convenience for supporters.
