Maker Introduction

Hello, we are the team behind ANUKO, a vegan hair care brand.

ANUKO began with my desire to create truly effective products for my extremely damaged hair, which had undergone every possible treatment such as bleaching, dyeing, perming, and straightening. I wanted to develop a solution that could fundamentally restore damaged hair, not just offer impressive phrases or temporary softness.

Although the hair care market is already filled with countless products, I felt that there were few brands that spoke about more than just a 'pleasant scent' or 'surface-level softness.' Rather than 'fancy words', we wanted to create products with real results, honest ingredients, and something we could confidently recommend to anyone.That’s why we made no compromises during development. Whenever we thought, “Isn’t this good enough?” we questioned ourselves and chose to go back and try again.

We constantly wondered, “Why can’t hair feel as revived at home as it does at the salon?” Over more than a year, we conducted dozens of formula tests and gathered consumer feedback to create a product that delivers professional care results at home. We personally refined every detail, from ingredient selection to fragrance balance, and never let go of our ethical standards of vegan certification and opposition to animal testing.
