Even as a maker who bakes bread and cookies every day, I tasted a dessert made with freshly harvested wheat for the first time in 2024. The Suni Madeleine I always made and tasted somehow felt even more delicious than usual. I used the same ingredients and measured everything the same, so I wondered, what is this?

The difference in taste was made by'freshly harvested wheat'.

When I received wheat freshly milled at the mill and made madeleines right away, the freshness created a subtle difference in flavor. It was so fascinating, and I thought I should make a dessert where everyone could experience this freshness of newly harvested wheat. That’s how the Korean Wheat Bite-Sized Scone was born. There’s no other dessert like a scone where good ingredients shine so brightly.

Instead of the usual scone style, I prepared them in bite-sized pieces so you can enjoy them lightly and conveniently like a snack. That way, around 3 p.m. when your energy drops at work... you can eat them without any burden : )

The reason we came to Wadiz

What I've felt through funding so far is that there are so many products that allow for new attempts and experiences, and even more supporters who cheer for them with an open mind. That's why, after Sooni Cookies, Sooni Jam, and Sooni's Gentle Bread, this is already our third new product meeting on Wadiz with our Korean Wheat Bite Scones!

The bite-sized scones we've prepared this time are, of course, delicious desserts, but above all, they are special products designed to let you experience the freshness and flavor of freshly harvested native Korean wheat.
