Hello, this is Gina Kim.
I have spent my entire life with social media. As a creator, as a marketer, as the CEO of a short-form production company, and now as an SNS coach. Now, I want to share my 15 years of social media know-how with you.
In my twenties, I started as a creator with a Naver fashion blog and was selected as a Style.com power blogger. At 23, I gathered 590,000 subscribers on a Korean culture YouTube channel for foreigners. After that, I moved on to Instagram and TikTok, actively uploading short-form content and gaining over 80,000 followers.
In my late twenties to early thirties, I worked as a marketer at a Hong Kong fashion company and a global influencer startup, handling content creation and management for various social media accounts and influencer marketing. Based on this experience, I started a short-form production business.
In my early to mid-thirties, I produced short-form content for global K-beauty brands such as Skin&Lab, Tiam, and SKIN1004. To attract more clients, I uploaded a short-form video to the company account, which had about 1,000 followers, and the results were incredible. Although the views were low, dozens of inquiries poured in every day, and within a month, I gained eight new clients. Through this experience, I realized what kind of short-form content actually drives sales.
However, there were limitations to short-form production outsourcing. Unless the CEO personally set the foundation for the account, branding, and content planning, outsourcing was just outsourcing.That is why I decided to provide educational services as an SNS coach.
My SNS short-form consulting was a huge success. A CEO who received my consulting had a short-form video go viral and achieved 100 million KRW in sales, and even the short-form I uploaded also recorded another 100 million KRW in sales, making me wonder if it was just a coincidence.
That was when I realized. Now is an era where a single SNS short-form content can generate sales, and there is a certain formula to it. Now, I want to share all the SNS insights I have gained over the past 15 years with you.
