The background that led us to prepare this project,
Motivation and Background of the Project
Our development team consists of people with a deep passion for golf, who were also ordinary amateur golfers tired of endlessly changing equipment. The biggest concern we faced was,"Why does my equipment, which was perfect yesterday, not feel right today?" This was the 'golfer's paradox.'
A golfer's swing changes subtly, and sometimes significantly, depending on their condition, fatigue, and mental state on any given day. However, the shaft we use is always a 'static' tool with the same physical properties. Because of this gap, some days we experience the best shots of our lives, while on others, we lose consistency with disappointing shots.
To solve this problem, we tested countless shafts and received fittings, but ultimately concluded that there is no such thing as 'the one perfect shaft.' So, we changed our perspective.
"Instead of the golfer adjusting to the shaft, couldn't the shaft adjust to every swing of the golfer?"
This question was the beginning of the BUKI MAX AI project. We aimed to create a shaft that delivers optimal performance for any swing by combining 'intelligent polymer' technology, which changes its stiffness according to swing speed, with cutting-edge carbon materials. BUKI MAX AI Artificial Intelligence Series is the result of our sincere desire to end golfers' endless equipment worries and return the joy of focusing solely on their swing.
Purpose of Funding Usage
The amount raised through this Wadiz funding will be used for the following clear objectives.
Securing Initial Production Volume: BUKI MAX AI Artificial Intelligence Series uses premium raw materials such as TEIJIN's T-1100G carbon fiber and special intelligent polymers. To produce the initial batch with stable quality, we must secure the minimum order quantity (MOQ). The funds from our supporters will be the most important resource for this first production.
Securing Price Competitiveness and Providing Benefits: With mass production enabled through funding, we can lower the cost of raw materials and processing. We intend to return these savings entirely to our supporters who believed in and supported the success of this project.
