This is Piyun, continuing a new attempt to transform hanbok from something you wear to something you carry.
It all began with the question, 'Why don't we have our own luxury bags that embody our country's traditions to shine on special days like someone's wedding, holidays, gatherings, or meetings?' So, we created a vegan leather jeogori collar hanji tote bag that captures the aesthetics of hanbok.

The vegan leather jeogori collar hanji tote bag is a work centered on [traditional elements] to 'express the beauty and elegance of tradition with a modern design sensibility' and [environment] for 'responsibility to the next generation.'

The vegan leather jeogori collar hanji tote bag, which beautifully expresses Korean traditional beauty and modern aesthetics,
is not only for special occasions but also convenient for everyday use thanks to the use of vegan leather.
We have achieved this.

It embodies the unique asymmetry and diagonal lines of the hanbok jeogori.
We put a lot of effort into naturally capturing the collar and dongjeong lines, which represent the essence of hanbok from the front view.
We revised the design multiple times to express the diagonal lines, which could appear sharp or rigid, as softly and gently as possible, and we are quite satisfied with the result.

With a promise of quality and pride in sophistication, we attached a charm with the Piyun logo.

For the inner lining of the bag, we chose 'yangdan,' a fabric actually used in high-quality hanbok.
We selected the yangdan that best matches the hanji leather tote bag and crafted the lining to achieve the perfect harmony with the collar design and soft leather.

Because the hanji leather is made using hanji, the unique patterns of hanji are preserved as they are.
Every tote bag is made with its own unique pattern.

Every year, countless animals are slaughtered in inhumane ways to make the fashion accessories we use.
In addition, the problems of water pollution, land degradation, and carbon dioxide emissions caused by raising these livestock are not just issues for the animals, but also for us humans who walk the earth, breathe the air, and drink the water.
These are becoming serious threats to us.

The jeogori collar hanji tote bag, which reinterprets the decorations and lines of hanbok with a modern sensibility, aims to be a small attempt at K-culture that can introduce the beauty of Korean tradition to the world.
By incorporating the traditions of hanji and hanbok into a modern fashion item like a bag, we hope to deliver another cultural value of K-culture not only to domestic consumers but also to the global market.
What does it mean to truly enjoy something? I believe that when we embrace change and harmonize with the times to evoke broad empathy, rather than simply holding on to precious values, more people can come to appreciate those values.
Tradition woven into everyday life. This is the path 'Piyeon' has chosen to preserve what is ours. With the hope that more people will enjoy our traditions, we will continue to create honest products.
