Maker Story

I graduated at the top of my class from Seoul National University's Department of Composition, studied at the prestigious USC Screen Scoring program in Hollywood, and have participated in the music for major domestic and international projects such as Lies of P, Lineage 2: Revolution, and Apple TV+ projects. 

The question I received most often while teaching students for years was, “What do you actually learn at USC, Berklee, and NYU?” 

However, there was no education in Korea that could properly answer that question. Due to economic and language barriers, as well as curricula disconnected from reality, many people couldn't even get started. 

Then I remembered a story about one of my students. A student who had only composed classical music took my class and, in just three months, became a composer for the Pororo animation. Later, they even participated in major game and Hollywood film projects. That experience gave me confidence. “With the right curriculum and practical, field-oriented content, anyone can grow.” 

That's why I created it. A practical online class based on study abroad curricula and templates actually used in the field,YK CLASS.

● Next lecture development cost: 'AI Composition Utilization Method Developed by the Son of NVIDIA Korea Representative' content is in production, and this funding will be used as a reserve to offer the next lecture at a more affordable price. 

● Global special lecture invitation fee: Inviting renowned overseas composers from USC/Berkeley/Pixar and connecting with educational programs. 

● Offline salon operation: Creating a networking space where students and creators can actually connect, collaborate, and provide feedback. 

● Community matching program operation: Connecting students preparing to study abroad, aspiring game and film music composers, and professionals needing portfolios to create real opportunities. 

● Year-end music campaign performance planning: Providing a stage where students can directly participate in online and offline integrated performances, allowing education to lead to tangible results. 

● Strengthening marketing/promotion: Expanding through online and offline channels such as SNS, communities, YouTube targeted ads, and newsletters.

Q1.  Can beginners take this course?? A. Yes! The 'Logic Course You Can Just Follow Along With' is designed so that even complete beginners can easily keep up, and both video and PDF materials are provided. Even those who are new to AI composition programs or Logic can follow along without difficulty. 

Q2. In what format are the MIDI copy templates and scores provided?? A. Each film score consists of a 'MIDI copy practice file,' 'partial score analysis material (PDF),' and 'video lecture (VOD).' To avoid copyright issues, full versions are not provided; instead, the focus is on section-by-section interpretation and analysis materials. The analysis is based on the USC style. 

3. Can I take the course without a time limit?? A. Yes, Wadiz purchasers can own the course for 1 year, and you can access the lectures and materials anytime after logging in. If there are future updates to the course, Wadiz reward purchasers will automatically receive the benefits. 

Q4. Is offline instruction included?? A.
