Agemonia boasts an expansive story. This does not simply mean there is a large amount of text. We have published and enjoyed many story-driven board games with extensive text. Among all those games, Agemonia,offers the most immersive and profound storytelling even with the same amount of text. This is something you will immediately feel as you choose your character to play and read the first page of each hero's「 Book of the Hero」.


Outstanding gameplay
No matter how much text there is or how top-notch the storytelling may be, a board game cannot be highly rated without solid gameplay. Agemonia is filled with the pure fun of gaming that will capture the hearts of usboard gamers. Its unique stamina and health management system, a story system that can be checked based on distances on the map, the fun of customizing various actions, and the impressive level design... These elements are not just gimmicks for the sake of gimmicks, but are properly implemented as mechanisms that let you truly enjoy the game itself and become even more immersed.

Easy game setup
Agemonia provides individual trays for each player. When resuming a paused game, you can use the personal trays prepared for each player toquickly finish setting up and immediately immerse yourself in the game.

The Agemonia game is largely divided intoCity Phase, Journey Phase, and Scenario Phase—these three parts.
In the City Phase, heroes visit locations within the city to use the services provided at each place and trade items. Events also occur through city event cards.
If you have completed the city phase, proceed with the scenario corresponding to the scenario card chosen during the journey phase.
You can naturally learn the scenario progression process through the tutorial campaign. The unique systems of Agemonia that enhance immersion in the game are as follows.
※ Stamina/Health System
In Agemonia, heroes' stamina (a value used for actions, etc.) and health (a value that decreases when taking damage) are both managed with stamina chips. Stamina chips exist in three basic states.
- Remaining stamina (on the vitality disk, in blue)
- Spent stamina (off the vitality disk, in blue)
- Received damage (off the vitality disk, flip remaining stamina to red first)
This system, where stamina and health are managed together, is regarded as an excellent resource management system that is simple yet enhances immersion in the game.
※ Action Selection System
At the start of each round, players choose the action their hero will perform this round. You can customize your action slots with various actions acquired during the game, and as your level increases, the number of available action slots also increases.
※ Turn Order Determination Method
Turn order is determined by initiative cards. After players finish selecting actions, they draw initiative cards, which contain information such as the initiative order for this round and enemy actions. Each action has a designated initiative color, so turns are taken according to the initiative card based on this.
※ Story Point System
There are story points on the scenario map. Each story point displays the symbol of the story card to be revealed and the range required to reveal it.
For example, in the case above, if a hero enters within one space of the story point, you immediately reveal the X story card. Through this, elements such as something being revealed when you approach, terrain changing, or events occurring are exquisitely implemented in the game, and the meticulously planned illustrations further enhance the fun of the game.

Q. What is the production quantity?
For the core set and expansions, we brought in 800 sets, excluding quantities for after-sales service and internal use. However, for the premium set components without language elements (miniature set, metal coin set, energy chip set, extra dice set), we were able to significantly reduce the production quantity through good communication with the original publisher (coincidentally, the Chinese edition is also being produced together with us this time :D), and we are bringing 400 units for this project.
Q. Is it possible to purchase each component of this project separately?
As we tried to bring as many components of Agemonia as possible (in fact, this project includes all Agemonia components except for a novel set in the game world), allowing individual pledges for each option would create too many possible combinations. If there are too many combinations, distribution costs increase, and there is a higher risk of missing items or longer delivery times. Therefore, we had to reduce the choices to two main options. If there is remaining stock after general sales, we plan to make each component available for individual purchase.
Q. Are there any plans to localize the Agemonia novel or app into Korean?
Currently, there are no plans to localize the novel or app, as they are not essential for enjoying the game. However, we are fully aware that these elements can enhance immersion in the game, and after completing this project, we plan to actively pursue localization (at present, we are focused on localizing the extensive game components themselves, so there is not enough time to dedicate to the novel or app localization). Please note that Korean voice dubbing for the app is realistically impossible, and it is unlikely that Korean voiceovers will be produced in the future.
Q. What is the sundrop add-on option shown in the reward configuration?
Sundrop is a technique where a basic primer is applied to miniatures, followed by a wash to emphasize highlights and shadows. With sundrop treatment, the sculpted details of the miniatures are more visible, and they look much better than plain, unpainted miniatures. For reference, the premium set miniature set add-on (50,000 KRW) already includes the core & expansion set miniature sundrop add-on (7,000 KRW), so there is no need to select both.

Since 2018, Delight has been introducing a variety of international board games to Korea and developing fun, self-produced board games. Based on crowdfunding, we have successfully completed over 70 projects so far.

Agemonia is truly a game with proven gameplay. Especially for gamers,it contains all the elements you would love. Character growth, a variety of items, an immersive story, scenario-based dungeon exploration... However, due to its vast components and large amount of text, it was impossible to enjoy this game in proud Korean. Therefore, we decided to create the official Korean edition of Agemonia, hoping that domestic gamers could also experience its fun, and thus began this project. Agemonia is a story-driven adventure board game, a masterpiece that encompasses elements beloved by fans of RPG, adventure, and TRPG genres. However, since it has only been a few years since its release, its recognition in Korea is still low, so we decided to launch this project on Wadiz to introduce Agemonia to more people.
Thanks to the love of our consistent crowdfunding supporters, the total number of participants in all our domestic projects has surpassed 44,000, and the cumulative funding amount has exceeded 2.6 billion KRW. We are excited to meet new people here on Wadiz, and with gratitude to our existing supporters who have allowed us to continue these projects, we will prepare and carry out this project with the same dedication.
Over the past seven years, thanks to the love and support of many people, the number of board games we have produced has increased, and we now have titles with stable sales. As a result, we are now able to localize smaller projects on our own without much burden. Even amidst this growth, we have always taken on challenges that push ourselves. It seems that the beginning of this was with the title Time Stories.
At the time, as a new company with little experience in contracts with leading overseas companies, Time Stories, which was licensed by Asmodee (before Asmodee Korea was established), was so popular that we would not have been able to acquire the rights if there had been competition. Asmodee headquarters had even proposed Korean localization to a certain domestic company, but the discussions did not progress. With a large amount of text and being a type of game that cannot be replayed, and with the company able to localize other more profitable games, there was no reason for them to proceed with the Korean edition. Thanks to this (since no one else wanted to localize it), we were able to localize Time Stories. From February 2019, for about a year and a half, we poured our passion and ambition into localizing everything from the base game to the final expansion and even fan-made promo expansions. No matter how much passion and ambition we had, without your love and generous support, the Korean edition of Time Stories would not have been possible.
The second major challenge was probably last year's Millennium Blades project. With over 1,000 cards in the base game alone, a massive volume of cards, and its unique vibe... a theme so unique that there is nothing else like it in the world... Despite these difficulties, we proceeded with the Korean localization because we wanted to enjoy this game in Korean (and hoped many others would too). This second challenge was also successfully completed thanks to the love and support of many people (especially, we would like to once again thank Prejust, who has always given us generous help and with whom we formed a valuable connection through the Millennium Blades project).
Now, through this project, we are about to embark on our third major challenge.Vast amount of text, Countless components, and above all,A strict original publisher andA high supply price as much as its proven gameplay and more... But we will focus on just two things. The great support we have received fromThe love and encouragement of many people, andThe belief that a fun game will ultimately succeed.
I hope that this project will be successfully completed, leading to even more challenging projects in the future, so that more people can enjoy a greater variety of fun games without language barriers.
