The background that led us to prepare this project is,
We operate Geulmaru Lifelong Education Center and continue to provide literacy education (teaching reading and writing) for seniors and vulnerable groups. Literacy education is a precious opportunity that goes beyond simple reading and writing, helping people regain self-esteem and the joy of learning. However, we always face difficulties due to a lack of stable financial support.
Therefore, this mugwort rice cake funding aims to be more than just selling a traditional snack; it seeks to become a solid foundation for the continued operation of literacy education. Your support will not only allow you to enjoy healthy traditional food, but also become a meaningful act of sharing that helps sustain opportunities for learning.
This project we are presenting has such a story.

1. Chewy texture, just like the old way โ We achieved a chewy texture by boiling the rice cakes ourselves without preservatives, keeping the freshness alive inside and out.
2. The scent of mugwort gifted by nature and healthy ingredients โ We used fragrant wild mugwort grown in Jeose Village, Yeongwol, Gangwon-do, to preserve the natural taste.
3. Value consumption connecting the region and education โ The proceeds from mugwort rice cake sales are used to operate literacy education at Geulmaru Lifelong Education Center, delivering hope to seniors in need of learning.
Hello, supporters! I am Maker Cho Byung-ok, who prepared the [Mugwort Scented, Traditional Taste Alive Mugwort Rice Cake Project] in Yeongwol, Gangwon-do.

I majored in lifelong education and currently run Geulmaru Lifelong Education Center, continuing literacy education for seniors and local residents. To continue this education steadily, a stable financial foundation was needed, so I decided to make mugwort rice cakes using local resources.
The mugwort rice cakes are made healthily without preservatives, carefully crafted with mugwort handpicked from Jeose Village in Yeongwol. They preserve the traditional taste, support local farmers, and embody the special value of providing learning opportunities.
Your support is not just about purchasing a snack, but a warm journey together to preserve tradition and protect education. If you trust and support us, we will repay you with sincerity and dedication.
The reason we chose Wadiz
It is not simply to sell mugwort rice cakes. It is to introduce the taste and value of tradition to many people and to communicate with supporters who share our empathy. Since our mugwort rice cakes are made in small batches by hand, there were limitations in distribution and promotion, and it was difficult to fully convey our story and sincerity through ordinary sales channels.
We believe Wadiz is not just a place for sales, but a place to meet supporters who support and cheer for new values. Through this funding, we want to introduce healthy and heartfelt mugwort rice cakes, share the stories of tradition and our region, and build a precious foundation for lifelong and literacy education.
Your participation will be more than just a bite of mugwort rice cake; it will be a meaningful journey to preserve tradition and continue opportunities for learning.
