Gluki is an item selected for the Youth Forest Startup Support Project, hosted by the Korea Forest Service and operated by the Korea Forestry Promotion Institute.Recognized for the excellent functionality of the natural sweetener 'licorice,' we were proudly chosen for a project that selects only 16 companies nationwide!ย  We spent over a year researching to create Gluki Aid, which we are presenting in this funding. It is a product filled with long hours, consideration, and passion. Through this funding, Gluki aims to introduce the outstanding benefits of licorice to more people.

There were many twists and turns when we first started preparing the brand. After registering the business and beginning product development, we focused solely on development for a year without any sales. After that long period, we finally decided on a brand name,and just as we finished production, an unexpected trademark change issue arose. Although it was daunting to think we had to start everything over, our confidence in the product itself and the thought, 'It's fortunate we found out before something bigger happened,' allowed us to quickly prepare again and present it to you at this moment.

The packaging has been reproduced with the new brand name 'Gluki,'but unfortunately, it was difficult to reproduce the product sticks, so stickers covering the previous trademark have been attached.ย Although we are inexperienced and there may be shortcomings since this is our first time, we have prepared the product itself with great care. The brand name has changed, but we promise that the quality and sincerity of the product remain the same. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and support.



Why Wadiz?

The localization of licorice has been a long-cherished project since the time of King Sejong. Our journey began with my father's small curiosity about cultivating licorice, leading us down a challenging path. After many failures and trials, we gained experience and finally succeeded in mass production in Korea. The desire to let more people know and experience the high-quality licorice, filled with my father's sweat and effort, grew stronger over time. We believe that the journey to reveal the true value of licorice is only complete when you experience it yourself. As the starting point, we chose Wadiz. Wadiz is home to supporters who recognize good products and cheer on sincerity. Q. If neither sugar nor artificial sweeteners are used, where does the sweetness come from?
A. Glukyade gets its sweetness from glycyrrhizin, a natural component of licorice, instead of sugar. This ingredient is over 50 times sweeter than sugar but contains almost no calories, making each packet zero sugar. Since it is the natural sweetness of the plant, not an artificial sweetener, you can enjoy it with peace of mind.

Q. Does it have a strong or bitter licorice taste?
A. You don't need to worry. Glukyade contains only the natural sweetness of licorice. We added a peach flavor to create a refreshing and pleasant taste.

Q. Can pregnant women or children drink it?
A. Glukyade is made from natural ingredients, but licorice may cause unusual reactions in some sensitive individuals.For pregnant women, children, or those with certain medical conditions, we recommend consulting a specialist before consumption.

Q. Can I drink it while dieting?
A. Of course! Glukyade is a zero sugar, zero calorie product, so you can enjoy the sweetness without worrying about calories or sugar. Especially if you mix one packet with sparkling water, it adds a feeling of fullness, making it a satisfying drink even while managing your diet.

Q. How much can I make with one packet?
A. We recommend mixing one packet (15ml) with 500ml to 700ml of sparkling water or cold water. If you want a stronger sweetness, reduce the amount of water; if you prefer it lighter, increase the amount of water.

A. Glukyade is hygienically manufactured in a HACCP-certified facility. Please store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Q. Why do you use only domestically grown licorice?
A. Imported licorice often has reduced freshness due to long storage periods, or may experience quality degradation during distribution. In addition, the place of cultivation or origin is sometimes unclear. Since licorice does not naturally grow in Korea, continuous large-scale cultivation has been difficult. However,Gluki has developed its own cultivation technology and succeeded in using 100% domestically grown licorice. We deliver a trustworthy sweetness made from licorice grown in our land, without relying on overseas imports.
