Here is the background of how we came to prepare this project.
- Minhanbok began with the desire to 'preserve the beauty of tradition while creating hanbok that can be worn naturally in everyday life.' Many people have told us, 'It would be nice to have hanbok that can be worn comfortably on a daily basis, not just for special occasions.' With that in mind, we are designing and producing daily hanbok that anyone can wear without burden. This crowdfunding project is to introduce our premium daily hanbok lineup, carefully made one by one in our own workshop, to our supporters first.
This project we are presenting has this story.
- In this Wadiz campaign, Minhanbok presents four new hanbok series: Hani, Sona, Beiesa, and Lumi.
- Hani (Hani) — A soft and refreshing silhouette like the wind.
- Sona — A design that adds elegance with a neat tweed texture.
- Beiesa — Urban charm created by the harmony of ivory and navy.
- Lumi) — A modern and sophisticated hanbok in gray tones.
Each product preserves the silhouette of traditional hanbok, but features a two-way design that can be worn as a standalone dress or layered. We have also implemented a hanbok fit based on a Western-style pattern, meticulously adjusting the armholes and cuffs.

- I am Donghyeong Jo, the maker who directly operates and produces 'Minhanbok,' a lifestyle hanbok brand that reinterprets traditional hanbok in a modern way.
- All designs are created by personally selecting fabrics, modifying patterns, and making samples. The finished garments are completed one by one through ironing and finishing processes in our own workshop.
- With the mindset of 'crafted with sincerity,' we create clothing that finds balance between tradition and modernity.
The reason we came to Wadiz is
- Minhanbok products always receive high satisfaction from those who have tried them, but many people have yet to experience the comfort of lifestyle hanbok. That is why, instead of simply selling, we want to take the first step toward 'making hanbok part of daily life' together with supporters through this crowdfunding campaign on Wadiz.
