What inspired you to start this project?
I believe an artist's story becomes most truthful when told through the artist’s own perspective. To me, Modigliani was not just a painter, but a human being who embraced both the pain and the love of art.
To share that emotion, I wrote and created music.
And now..., I want to share that story in Korean with supporters — and that’s why I’m launching this project.
What kind of project is this?
Modigliani is a figure you cannot forget once you see him.
His long neck, almond-shaped eyes, and above all, his portraits that capture the human soul go beyond simple paintings to become "records of the soul."
From the moment I learned about him, I was deeply drawn to him as an artist. The result of that passion is these books and music.
This project focuses on one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, Amedeo Modigliani, and explores his life, philosophy, and artistic world through my own writing. A four-part English book, translated into Korean, will be introduced to supporters for the first time in Korea as both e-books and audiobooks, accompanied by a tribute music album created in honor of Modigliani and his final lover, Jeanne, as part of an art convergence project.
Consisting of stories dedicated to Modigliani’s life and art, the e-book, audiobook, and tribute music album will be shared with supporters. I also hope to journey together with supporters through Modigliani’s world.
The e-book is based on the English novel, which is available on Amazon and other major bookstores worldwide, and will be localized into Korean. The audiobook will be produced emotionally in Korean using a professional AI tool with an AI narrator. The tribute music album for Modigliani and Jeanne, consisting of 10 of my original songs, is currently available on Spotify, Apple Music, and more than 20 other music platforms worldwide.

I am the maker of this project, writer Seungyong Chang.
I have worked in various fields of culture and arts, including music, art, and film. Currently, I am active as a writer, instructor, critic, content creator, broadcaster and composer .
Also, as an expert of Amedeo Modigliani , I founded Modigliani Institute Korea (MIK) to introduce Modigliani's works and review his works. I am actively promoting Modigliani by publishing numerous books about him.
Currently, as the President of the complex culture and arts company, Art Collage Jang and the publisher J Books & Media, I have published articles about Modigliani in art magazines in various countries around the world.
Also, I have lectured in many institutions, including KBS, Seongdong Cultural Foundation Seongdong District Library, Korean Contemporary Art Academy, Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Mapo Lifelong Learning Center, Seoul Metropolitan Seongbuk Gangbuk Office of Education, Shinsegae Academy, Yangju City Hall, and I have published about 40 books.
The year 2025 seems to be a very meaningful year for me, with many good things happening. First of all, this year I have shifted my writing focus from fact-based books to novel, and I am concentrating on this field. As a result, four Modigliani novels and one horror novel have been published in English and are being sold as e-books, paperbacks, and audiobooks at major bookstores worldwide, including Amazon.
Also, starting this year, I began creating music as a creator and composer. My music is now available on over 20 major music platforms worldwide, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music. I also had the joy of my YouTube channel being upgraded to an Official YouTube Artist Channel.
One of the rewards offered in this project is the Modigliani Tribute Album, a piece I released as a heartfelt tribute to my most beloved artist, Modigliani, and his final lover, Jeanne.

As an art lover, I’ve poured my deepest passion for Modigliani into this project.
Why did I choose Wadiz?
The reason I decided to participate in the Wadiz funding project is that I wanted to share my love and passion for Modigliani with more people in a more effective way. I chose Wadiz because it is a funding platform with excellent infrastructure.
Supporters will be the first to experience Korea’s very first Modigliani multi-art project and can receive the content as a reward at a much lower price than when it is later released in the domestic market. I believe there are many advantages to participating in this project.

Q2. Is the book a physical book?
No. This project provides an e-book (PDF).
Q3. What format is the audiobook?
It is an MP3 file narrated by an AI voice actress using a professional AI tool. It can be played on most devices such as PC and mobile.
Q4. Is the music album available for streaming?
Yes, the tribute album can be streamed in full on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. As a reward, I provide high-quality WAV files.
Q5. Is it possible to send as a gift?

Q6. Will it also be published as a paperback book?
Currently, I am not considering it, but depending on follow-up funding or the response, I may consider the possibility of a paperback edition.
