Hello, supporters! I am Donghyuk Kim, the representative of Neollineolli, greeting you on Wadiz. For the past three years, I have been creating artworks utilizing Hangeul,and I am researching various ways to widely share the story of King Sejong and the creation of Hangeul.

My great-grandfather was a patriot for independence, so I have always been deeply interested in preserving the identity and spirit of Korea. There are many heritages that represent Korea, but among them,I believe the Hangeul heritage is the most visually representative embodiment of Korean identity, in my opinion.

Hangeul began with the creation by King Sejong and has continued to this day, overcoming countless challenges and crises. Even under the pressure of the Ming Dynasty and the oppression during the Japanese occupation, the dedication of many who risked their lives to protect Hangeul is embedded in our script, 'Hangeul.'

I aim to reinterpret the profound story of Hangeul and the spirit of King Sejong in a modern way, and to convey this through products that combine practicality and artistry.

With this cup commemorating the 1443 creation of Hangeul by King Sejong, I hope it becomes a meaningful Hangeul gift for your loved ones, along with the story contained in Hangeul :)

Our Korean brand Neollineolli

Many luxury brands around the world use English. I wanted to create a luxury Hangeul item with the pure Korean word 'Neollineolli' as the logo itself,and produce luxury Hangeul items with the Hangeul logo itself, so I launched the brand under the name 'Neollineolli' to contain many hidden stories about Hangeul.

Overseas exhibitions, cultural center displays, and awards

Thankfully, as I began these challenges, I was able to participate in various overseas exhibitions, including three consecutive years at Maison & Objet in Paris, Korean cultural centers in over 15 countries, and a language exhibition in Berlin, Germany. Along with winning various Hangeul-related competitions, I have also held several exhibitions in Korea, making various efforts to introduce Hangeul to the world.

Some people have even visited from overseas to see my work in person, and I gain strength and courage from the support and lessons from many global leaders as I continue to create items! Recently, I have also held my own pop-up store,and I am making various attempts to share the stories of Hangeul and King Sejong. I will continue to work hard for the industrialization of Hangeul!
