Since ancient times,the cow has been thegreatest asset of a household,
and a symbol of abundance and happiness. It was.

Unlike other livestock, our ancestors called cows 'Saenggu,' meaning 'a mouth that eats and lives together.' To that extent, our ancestors regarded cows as beings beyond mere livestock. When the nose ring reached the end of its life, our ancestors threaded straw through it and hung it at the main gate and in the master bedroom. Our ancestors believed that remembering the cow and hanging the nose ring that had been with the cow would keep blessings in the house and prevent misfortune from entering.

According to the 'Diary of the Royal Secretariat,' pollack (Myeongtae), meaning 'to shine big and bright,' 

has long been considered a medium connecting humans and gods,
and has always been offered in traditional rituals and ancestral rites. 

After the ancestral rites, the pollack that had been offered to the ancestors was hung on the gate with tough silk thread.They prayed that the pollack, with its round eyes, would watch over to keep misfortune away and eat up bad luck with its big mouth.  Also, in the tough silk thread, there is a wish for the family's health, happiness, and prosperity to last for a long time. Instead of a real pollack, which may be burdensome to hang indoors,we created a warm and cute pollack shape using solid wood, suitable for modern living spaces. However,to highlight the pollack's characteristics, we made the eyes that watch for misfortune and the mouth that eats bad luck even bigger. The tightly woven silk thread and the strong magnetic holder that supports the pollack were prepared with the hope that good fortune will last long in your space. This is our intention.

I am a young person who loved the history and traditions of Korea.

While researching Mokkoji, I often felt regret seeing traditional items fade into the background of history.
However, just as trends come and go and retro styles become popular again,It was my dream to design and develop many Korean-style products that once flourished in the past. Many people think of tradition as something heavy,But I tried to prepare in a way that would satisfy everyone, making it cute and charming to fit modern trends, and as a result, the brand Mokkoji was born. 

Mokkoji is a pure Korean word meaning 'feast.' I hope that every day will be like a 'Mokkoji' for all supporters who read this.

While considering and launching new items, we always deliberate between pre-ordering on N company and Wadiz.
Still, I always wanted to introduce our products first on Wadiz, which has always been loved. After succeeding in our first funding, I chose pre-order again to receive valuable feedback and suggestions for product improvements from the respected Wadiz supporters. I always strive to prepare each product with the highest quality for the Wadiz supporters who have shown us so much love.

How do you plan to use the funds raised?

We are currently creating our brand together with renowned masters in Korea. After nearly two years in business, we have seen many artisans lose their shine due to distributors or exaggerated advertising, which has been disheartening. We plan to boldly invest the funds raised to create a brand with true masters.

4. For deliveries to remote or island areas, an additional shipping fee (3,000 KRW) will be charged.
