DESIGN

This Shin:Seoul padded durumagi coat
Features a no-collar design for a relaxed robe-like fit.

The side seams of the coat are finished with a concealed zipper,
Which, when opened, creates a look reminiscent of a sochangui,
And when closed, transforms into a classic durumagi style.

Due to the no-collar design, there is no collar,
So to effectively express the hanbok collar shape at the neckline,
Each stitch was hand-sewn with white decorative thread.

There are a total of three colors,
Black / Blue / Beige

In harmony with the colors of everyday life,
Designed to match well with your daily wear or hanbok,

Coat Side Zipper

The coat's side seam is finished with a concealed zipper,
so that wearers can choose according to their preferences.
It is designed to allow you to style it freely.

When you open the zipper,
you can style it like a 'Sochangui' with open side seams,

and when you close the zipper,
you can style it as a fully covered 'Durumagi'.

The details on the coat's side seams
consist of domestic KSK concealed zippers and belt loops.

Coat Padding Lining and Material

The outer fabric of the padded durumagi coat is a wool blend,
chosen for its warmth and resistance to pilling.

So that the name 'padded durumagi' is truly fitting,
Body + sleeves + pocketFully padded quilted lining Is included.
With a moderate thickness, it is not too heavy.
Quilting was done with 2 ounces.

For the outer fabric, a unique diagonal weave was used,
Using fabric with enhanced durability.

Inner and outer placket fastening buttons

Although it is unisex and divided into sizes 1/2/3,
Since each supporter may have a different upper body size,
We included two hidden buttons to fasten the inner and outer plackets,

Hand-stitched details on the coat collar
Handcrafted point stitch

Designed with a no-collar style like a robe coat,
With a relaxed, draping fit,
To express the ancient mountains represented by the collar of Hanbok
The pattern was created by giving a difference in the neckline between the front and back panels.

We use a special stitching machine used for high-end clothing.
With the peak stitch technique,
We express the silhouette of the collar, capturing the silhouette of hanbok,
While also designing it to be worn casually.

Were greatly inspired by military uniforms.

Among them, the most conceptual and newly attempted thing

According to 'Unhoe (韻會)', bok (箙) is also written as 'bok (服)'.
In 'Sido (詩圖)', it is said, "It is a container for arrows."
Nowadays, it is made with pigskin, and the strap uses deerskin.

With the wool material of the padded durumagi coat
And a contrasting leather fabric for the belt,
We did not stop at simply making it.

Inspired by the donggae from Gungsiilche, we created a belt and mini bag.
We sought to achieve a modern succession of our culture.

By securing the sibok and gungdae to the back shoulder strap and waist,
We adopted the function and concept of storing bows and arrows,

For the waist belt, the front is shaped to resemble the jeogori goreum,
And the back is designed to secure the sibok mini bag.
It consists of an O-ring and a detachable shoulder belt.

The mini bag is a modern reinterpretation of the traditional archery cheopgae (sibok).
It is designed in the form of a lucky pouch (bokjumeoni).

It looks stylish even if you hang your norigae on the back O-ring.

The detachable shoulder belt can be connected to the sibok mini bag,
And can also be used as a handbag strap.

Alternatively, the sibok mini bag can be inserted and secured into the full belt set.

There is a belt loop on the back of the sibok mini bag,
So you can attach it to the belt or connect it to the shoulder belt loop for standalone use.

It is also practical with a card slot.
