I was a student who struggled through school life, suffering from school violence since middle school. I was born and raised in a rural area, and since I wasn't good at anything, I always lived a difficult life. Then one day, I was captivated by the voice of a native speaker during English class and started reading English. As I gained confidence through English, I became an adult who never gives up and always takes on challenges. Even now, I truly enjoy communicating with foreigners.

After countless hardships and challenges, I became an English instructor with 4 million students. I have been teaching English at EBS for 18 years, and the process of teaching students brings me happiness. Not stopping there, I am also running businesses in Canada and the United States. When working on the global stage, I meet so many people who speak English naturally. Every year, I experience my life becoming richer as I have English conversations with them on various topics.

Everyone, the number one language that can bring great change to your life is English. If smart Koreans add English skills, they can do anything. Because I know so well the hardships of being a beginner, I was able to become an English instructor who truly understands your perspective. I will do my best, with the most efficient methods, to help you study English on your own and improve your skills.

My mission is to help learners grow into adults with future capabilities through a trustworthy educational community. I focus on 'learning that is used in real life' rather than just 'getting the right answer.' I provide learning experiences that emphasize action over credentials, expression over memorization, and results over theory. That is why English, conversation, and reading are all structured around experience-based activities where you speak and write for yourself.

Future plans for the use of funding

The funds will be used to develop an AI-based content automation system and personalized learning services that will provide real help in improving English learners' skills.

A. Yes, that's fine! If your English basics are weak, you can enjoyably understand English by starting with the basic lectures.

Q2. How does the AI feedback system work?

A. When you submit an assignment, you will receive a score for your English pronunciation. This can be much more motivating than just studying with online lectures and handouts.

Q3. In what format is the e-book provided?

A. The e-book is provided as a PDF, and MP3 files for each expression are also included, allowing you to practice listening and speaking. You can study directly on your phone or tablet as well.

Q4. Do I have to attend offline meetings or special lectures?

A. It's not mandatory, but being part of a 'community' of dedicated learners can help motivate you. We recommend studying hard and attending offline meetings to put what you've learned into practice.

Q5. I'm worried I might lose motivation and stop studying on my own.

A. That's why we've set up an AI feedback system and a management system through Discord. It's completely different from just watching lectures!
