The best olive oil I found in Spain. The finest olive oil.

Many olive oils are known as travel essentials when visiting Europe.
But the localseither don't know about them at all or don't prefer them, which I found out.
It's like how Korean products sold abroad are things that no Koreans actually eat!

I became curious about which olive oils local Spaniards actually prefer,
and what criteria they use to choose their olive oil.

They prefer oils that are not greasy even when eaten raw and have a sharp taste that hits the throat,
and oils with a fresh grassy aroma like fruit.
That's what I found out.

But do you think Koreans would dislike such a refreshing taste?

No. Of course not. We just didn't know!

Maybe we just thought olive oil was supposed to taste greasy.

We at Communique pride ourselves on having tried everything considered the best in the world.

Even for me, I carefully examined and consumed all kinds of health foods, healthy seasonings, and ingredients at home, focusing on what was said to be good.

But after encountering Cortijo Suerte Alta Olive Oil, I realized that this oil is truly

a genuine premium that has been steadfastly maintained for over 100 years, and that's what I found out.

UnparalleledRecord-high polyphenol content

There are many claims that olive oil contains a lot of polyphenols,
but among olive oils, there is an oil that boasts a truly exceptional content, and it exists.

03.gif

This is Cortijo Suerte Alta Olive Oil.

At the Baena farm in Spain, they boast a high content of polyphenols using only high-quality raw olives.
I understood why locals in Spain love Cortijo Suerte Alta Oil,and why only those in the know enjoy this oil.
It would be nice if it became well-known,but it's an oil I want to keep to myself, just as it is. That was exactly how I felt.

Only once a year, using the EARLY HARVEST method,
the freshest and most delicious oil,

The olives of Cortijo Suerte Altaare harvested using the EARLY HARVEST method, starting from the end of October. When harvested at their freshest and cold-extracted, the olive oil yields a smaller quantity but has outstanding taste, aroma, and rich nutrients. Coupage isharvested at the end of October, and Picual is harvested in early to mid-November, with the harvest time determined by each variety.

Olives harvested once a year are processed just before bottling,
under cold extraction at temperatures below 24°C.

Just before bottling,Cold extraction below 24°C is carried out.

The main reason for cold extraction isto preserve the high content of polyphenols as much as possible.

With the same pungent spiciness that sweeps down your throat and the fresh scent of grass, the aroma of olives is preserved as it is,

and cold extraction is the most important process to experience it.

After harvesting the freshest olives, a heavenly product is made using a natural cold extraction method.

Olive oil captures the color and nutrients of green olives themselves.
When you taste it with your eyes and mouth, you can feel the freshness as if the scenery of an olive farm under the hot sun unfolds before you.

You can even sense the refreshing aroma as if the landscape of the olive farm under the hot sun is unfolding before your eyes.

The tradition of the farm dates back to the 14th century,

and the cultivation philosophy continues to this day.

From the soil and climate of Baena, Spain, to the cultivation philosophy passed down by the Suerte Alta family since 1924.

The traditional coupage cultivation method is demanding and cumbersome, but it allows you to experience a differentiated deep flavor and taste by combining only the best qualities of each variety.

On the other hand, Picual is cultivated using the latest methods to maximize the quality of olives according to each variety.

It was precisely these olives that made Cortijo Suerte Alta one of the world's top-rated producers.

The characteristics of olive oil are mainly determined by differences in origin and variety, as well as soil and climate. Cortijo Suerte Alta has received the oldest Baena DOP certification in Spain. This region is characterized by calcareous soil and very little rainfall, which gives the olives a rich taste and aroma. It also enhances the healthy properties of the oil.

Coupage is A premium olive variety cultivated in the Baena farm using traditional methods, featuring three types of olives: Picual, Picudo, and Hojiblanca..The Coupage variety is made from trees that are at least 50 to over 120 years old, combined with long-accumulated skills and expertise.

Picual is a representative variety of Spain with a high oleic acid content, and is characterized by aromas of fig and tomato.

Its sharp and spicy flavors are well-balanced, making it the best variety for frying and various dishes.

Arbequina is softer and sweeter in taste compared to other varieties, reminiscent of banana and green apple. Four premium olive varieties—Arbequina, Arbosana, Manzanilla, and Picual—areblended in a golden ratio and recommended for use in the final stage of cooking or for those who prefer mild oil.

Cortijo Suerte Altaseeks differentiation in all product lines, expressing a unique identity that cannot be compared to other products.

Maker

Hello, we are Communique, in charge of the Cortijo Suerte Alta Olive Oil project. The Cortijo Suerte Alta Olive Oil that our team confidently introduces is a product of overwhelming quality that we are proud of, having met numerous local farmers and conducted taste tests, but found nothing that could replace it.

To ensure a stable supply, we dispatch staff to Spain every year to secure quantities and conduct thorough quality control. Despite record-breaking abnormal weather causing reduced supply and rising costs across Spain, thanks to the strong support of our backers, we are able to introduce the 25/26 season's new olive oil.

We believe that through Cortijo Suerte Alta Olive Oil, which is truly loved by locals in Spain, our backers will experience a new paradigm of olive oil beyond what they have imagined.

Reason for Wadiz Pre-order

Even Spain, the world's largest producer of olive oil, is experiencing a sharp decline in olive harvests each year due to climate change, and production costs are also rising steeply. To introduce this precious oil to more people, we have closely coordinated with local partners and are conducting the Wadiz pre-order again with minimal margins.

Plan for Use of Funds

There are still many excellent foods in Spain that have not yet been introduced domestically. Based on the funds raised, we plan to collaborate with local producers to discover and introduce valuable local brands.

Among them, we are preparing a variety of products such as pickles and pesto made from the highest grade olives, and plan to launch them for the first time on Wadiz soon. We ask for your continued interest and support.
