Maker Introduction
Eastern Moon is a place in Ansan that values the joy of sharing a cup with customers while running a small café.
Butter beer began from the desire to one day create that sweet and creamy drink I had only seen in books as a child. The time spent testing various recipes alone in the café kitchen led to what is now our signature menu.
Before I knew it, butter beer reached its third anniversary, and thanks to the love from so many people, I gained the courage to prepare a kit that can be enjoyed at home. I was nervous at first, but I really wanted more people to experience this taste for themselves.
I hope to continue creating menus that bring small moments of refreshment to everyday life.
Why did we choose Wadiz?
The biggest reason was the desire to share butter beer, which was only enjoyed inside the café, with more people. After refining the menu based on customer feedback over three years, I wanted to confidently present it to everyone and find a space where my sincerity could be truly conveyed for its first launch.
Wadiz is a place that supports new challenges and is a platform where makers can comfortably share their process and stories, so I felt it was a great fit for this project.
Although I am a bit nervous, I hope that by launching here for the first time, more people will get to experience Eastern Moon's butter beer firsthand.
This is how the funds will be used.
The funds from this project will be used for the stable production and quality control of the butter beer kit.
They will be used to secure raw materials for making the sauce and cream, reinforce facilities for hygiene and storage, and improve packaging for safe delivery.
We also plan to use them for testing costs to research better recipes and develop additional menu items. Based on the experience gained in the café, we will use the funds carefully to create products that can be enjoyed safely at home.
