Maker Introduction

JBK Korea Co., Ltd. is a brand management company that plans, manufactures, and distributes products closely related to everyday life, including its own brand OVROOM, home appliances, kitchen appliances, and smart appliances.

We do not aim simply to create appliances with good functionality.

Because they are items used every day, we carefully consider design, user experience, and even the emotions contained within them.

Amid the flood of products on the market, we ask questions such as, "Do we really need this?" and "Could this be more enjoyable to use?" By selecting products that can enrich life a little more and rebranding them through our own interpretation, this is the direction that JBK Korea pursues.

This project also began from the same 고민.

We wondered whether it would be possible to once again experience, in our current daily lives, the excitement of communication, the anticipation of waiting, and the weight of messages that are gradually disappearing amid fast and convenient technology.

We believe that Wadiz is a place that goes beyond introducing products, allowing us to share the maker’s thoughts and sincerity as well.

Through this project, we will prepare responsibly until the end so that we can add small joys and meaningful moments to the daily lives of many people.

"Do you remember a time when just one message inexplicably made your day better?"

In the pager era, when we shared our hearts with just a few numbers, a single message of fewer than ten characters helped us get through the day and made us think of someone.

It was much slower than today, but that was exactly why it was such a precious way of communicating.

We wanted to bring back the flutter and anticipation of those days.

That is why we started this project.

The old pager could only send numbers, but this time we included Korean sentiments and commonly used phrases from everyday life.

"That's crazy!", "Thank you", "I miss you", "Good job today." Words that feel awkward to say out loud, or words you couldn't bring yourself to say and kept in your heart. So you can leave them just as they are on the pager screen, we prepared a total of 86 messages.

Try sending words like "I'm sorry" and "I love you" in a light, yet long-lasting way.

We hope this small device becomes, for someone, once again, "a moment when just one message was enough."
