Q. Why We Chose Wadiz

This project is closer to a “precious journey of starting again” than a brand-new beginning.
After the first round of funding, I gained one clear conviction.
People do not stop at simply admiring Miggotche and saying, “It’s beautiful,”
but actually want to try writing with it themselves. That made me happy.
Beautiful lettering holds its brightest value the moment you write it yourself.
The supporters I met back then gained a small sense of courage, thinking, “I can do this too,”
and they say they have fallen in love with handwriting all over again.
As a handwriting artist working in Korea, where handwriting culture is gradually fading,
hearing words like these gives me tremendous strength.
That is also the decisive reason that brought me back to Wadiz.
The value of handwriting that has been disappearing for a long time,
I want to raise it together with all of you I meet here.
Through this funding, I hope more people will not stop at simply “looking at” Miggotche,
but will try “writing with it” themselves and bring a harmless yet beautiful hobby into their everyday lives.

Q. Plans for the Use of Future Funding

This funding will be used so that Miggotche can go beyond being just a typeface
and contribute to the expansion of a sustainable handwriting culture.

First, just as we donated part of the previous funding to support wildfire damage relief,
this time we plan to continue small-scale donation activities related to the field of handwriting.
In addition, we plan to use the funding to improve the development and operational environment of the currently operating Miggotche Research Institute cafe,
as well as to develop content and expand systems so that Miggotche can grow into an even stronger brand in the future.
The funding will also be allocated accordingly.

With your support, we plan to return with handwritten messages that once again comfort someone’s heart.

Q4. Do I have to use the Miggotche kit writing tools?
