The endless intersection of God and the Lord.
Hello! This is <Loose Church>!

The background for preparing this project is,
"I am a Protestant, but I like the atmosphere of the Catholic Mass."
"I am a Catholic, but Protestant hymns comfort me."
- We met as companions on the same path, beyond the red bricks of the church. The small gathering outside the church, 'Loose;00', which began in 2023, shared warm questions of daily life instead of the right answers of faith. We simply discussed and pondered together how a young person's faith wavers in daily life, why companions are needed, and what courage for brotherhood should be.
- So this book is neither a catechism nor a collection of moving testimonies. In a world where people consider each other wrong, this book contains clumsy attempts at how to start small conversations. If you also want to talk with a companion walking the same path, we recommend reading our small story.
- Since this book is not a project of an official publisher, we hope that the way it comes into the world will also be a 'collaborative effort.' We hope that the conversations shared at the boundary between God and the Lord will be warmer and kinder to each other.

This project we are presenting now contains such stories.
- For some people, faith is salvation, but for others, it can also be a wound.
Especially within one faith, the language and habits of Protestantism and Catholicism, which have split, often become 'wrong' rather than 'different,' and the distance between the two religions sometimes leads to silence instead of conversation.
But we believe.
Faith, in the end,is completed by walking together and living together, and that is what we believe.
This book started from that belief.
Rather than grand religious theories,it is a record of young people who prayed, asked about, and learned each other's cultures while mixing in their daily routines, and we want to collect these and present them to the world as a single book.
The 'Loose;00' gathering we formed was run without any external help, solely with the membership fees of Protestant and Catholic youth who came together. That is why we want to create our record by gathering the hearts of those who walk this path with us.
The funds raised from this campaign will be used for the following purposes.

There is only one reason why this book is special.
- Protestantism and Catholicism are connected not by 'confrontation' but by 'dialogue.' The languages of different traditions were not translated based on one side’s standards. Differences were not erased, but on top of those differences,We record and share the conversations of young people seeking mutual understanding..
- This book does not explain faith. Instead, it honestly records our concerns about how to live out and interpret faith as young people in this era.
- Through this book, I want to share a broader horizon of faith. When everyone views Christianity as a source of conflict, I hope to create a narrative of support and hospitality that endlessly opens hearts to one another.

Why Wadiz Platform
Similar crowdfunding sites have strengths in art and creative projects, and the main users are concentrated on those in their 20s and 30s of culture and art. On the other hand, Wadiz has a wider user age group, and various genres such as practical books, essays, and liberal arts books are making progress in the field of publishing. In the case of essay collections that encompass Protestant and Catholicism, Wadiz was considered suitable because it needed to reach a wide range of readers in their 30s and 50s. In particular, Wadiz has an advantage over other sites in platform size and exposure, and Wadiz has a more systematic reward design and marketing system compared to similar services, which are centered on sponsorship. As a result, I think Wadiz, which has accumulated publication funding results, can reach a wide range of age groups, and a well-equipped reward-type funding system, is the best platform for this project.
