The background behind preparing this project is as follows.
Sometimes, even if you can't quite explain why, there are days when your heart just feels heavy.
There were moments when I felt like I was falling behind for no reason, or saw myself as the ugly duckling.
We didn't think that such feelings always needed to be comforted in grand ways.
We believed that a small dose of cuteness on your desk, a keyring on your bag, or a stress ball you can squeeze when you're frustrated can sometimes give you more strength than you expect.
That's why we prepared this.
Okkumi's Summer Prescription is a character goods project filled with soft and gentle comfort that you can easily reach for on a tiring day.
This summer, we wanted to share moments of caring for your heart a little lighter and a little cuter with Oggumi.
This project we are presenting has the following story.
First, Okkumi's unique emotional comfort story.
Okkumi is not a perfect character; sometimes clumsy, quirky, and even wears a slightly tired expression.
That's why it's easier to relate to.
We wanted Okkumi to be a friend-like character who tells you it's okay even if you're not doing great, or if you're a bit slow and awkward.
Second, goods you can use often in daily life.
For this project, we focused on items you actually reach for often, rather than goods you just look at.
A stress ball you can squeeze when you're frustrated, a keyring for your bag, postcards to share your feelings, and even stickers and charms for a bit of fun.
We prepared them in ways you can keep close and use often in your daily life.
Third, a prescription for the heart that goes beyond just cuteness.
Okkumi's Summer Prescription is not just simple character goods, but was created with the hope that it will be a small prescription for your heart that you can reach for on a tough day.
Comfort that is not overwhelming, yet quietly lingers for a long time.

Moments of emotional struggle can come to anyone, but we felt that noticing the beginning and caring for it kindly is harder than it seems.
So we thought a more everyday and less burdensome approach was needed, rather than distant and heavy words.
Okkumi is a character born from that first step.

The reason we want to introduce Okkumi's summer prescription for the first time through Wadiz is,
because we hope this project will begin with empathy and support, rather than just sales.
Through Okkumi, we wanted to go beyond "cute character goods" and see if items like stress balls, keyrings, postcards, and stickers could truly bring comfort to people's daily lives.
