Hello, dear supporters.

For the past 20 years, I have met countless children on the front lines of education as an elementary, middle, and high school math instructor and academy director.
The most heartbreaking fact I have witnessed in the field is that the problems of students who give up on math in high school actually begin in the lower grades of elementary school. This is because numbers fail to take root as mental "images" rather than abstract "symbols."
"How can children come to accept math not as studying, but as a form of 'play,' and intuitively grasp its principles?"
After long contemplation, instead of picking up a pen, I studied data and technology. By adding national certifications in [Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analysis] to my expertise as a math education specialist, I planned content that our children truly need,"A New Concept of Math Content".

1️⃣ "Text feels difficult, and videos are only overstimulating." Children today are digital natives from birth. It is hard to capture their interest with text alone in paper books, and overstimulating YouTube videos lack educational effectiveness.
So I combined[E-book (PDF) + Moving Videos (Motion Graphics) + Activity Sheets (Worksheets)] On top of a solid math curriculum that I personally designed, I applied fantastic illustrations and lively motion graphics created using generative AI technology to capture children's attention.

See with their eyes (Video): They intuitively understand mathematical situations through the movements of characters,
Read with their minds (Story): They naturally absorb concepts by following the storyline,
Solve with their hands (Worksheets): They feel a sense of achievement through fun activity sheets.

2️⃣ I want to complete this project through funding. Among the extensive math storybook project planned as a total of 60 volumes, we are presenting the first 10 foundational volumes to Wadiz supporters first.
The valuable funds raised through this campaign will be used transparently in full for the production of subsequent series (Volumes 11–60) and for advancing technology to implement high-quality motion graphics that allow children to immerse themselves more deeply.

❝What’s different about "Visual Math" created by a math academy director with 20 years of experience?❞ Bookstores are filled with countless math storybooks, but they are useless if your child doesn’t read them to the end. This project combines what children love most, "video media" with the essential element of education, "reading," and "problem solving" into an all-in-one math solution.

Point 1. "No More Static Books!" Characters come alive [Motion Fairy Tales]

For children who shout, "Books with only text are boring!" show them this book. Using the latest generative AI technology, the characters in the book move vividly as if they are speaking directly to the child.

Intuitive understanding: The process of addition and the principles of rotating shapes are shown not through text but through "movement" so children intuitively grasp mathematical concepts.
Maximum immersion: Short, powerful videos like YouTube Shorts are linked to the book’s content, making it impossible for children to take their eyes off the book.

Point 2. A perfectly aligned elementary curriculum story built on 20 years of expertise

This is not a fantasy novel that simply pursues fun. It is a "thorough learning curriculum" directly designed by a test-prep math instructor and academy director with 20 years of experience.
Proven curriculum: It precisely targets the core objectives of each unit in the 1st–2nd grade elementary school textbooks.
Principle-focused: It’s not "1+1=2, memorize it!" Instead of asking "Why does it become 2?" children naturally internalize the answer through conflict resolution within the story. They may have only read a fairy tale, but before they know it, they can explain mathematical principles to others.

Hello, Supporters! I am Director Yoon Kyung-oh, the maker who will take responsibility for children's "First Steps in Math."

"Teacher, why is math so hard?"
For the past 20 years, I have stood at the front as a math instructor and academy director, meeting hundreds of children. The reason children give up on math in the field was not because they were "not smart." Simply, when they first encountered numbers 'Joyful memories' were missing.
I wanted to solve this problem. "Couldn't children fall in love with math as enjoyably as watching YouTube?"

So I did not settle and began a new challenge. To provide children with the trendiest and most effective educational methods, I researched day and night and obtained the [National Technical Qualification in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Analysis].
This project is not a fairy tale created by a writer who simply writes."Educational design" by a math expert and "Technical expertise" of a data expert come together to create this outcome.
By pouring all of my on-site educational know-how and the latest technology into it, so that our children "Math is really fun!" I will create a world where they can say this. I ask that you join us on this journey that will continue through the completion of all 60 volumes.

1. I want to 'finish the journey' together with supporters, not alone. This project is not a one-off event. It is the launch of the first 10 volumes—the beginning of a massive 60-volume series that covers the entire elementary math curriculum. I planned this with my 20 years of academy experience on the line, but completing all 60 volumes on my own could be a lonely and long battle. 2. A new attempt called 'AI X Math'—I want candid, critical feedback. As an academy director, I have always wondered. "Isn’t there a better way than the traditional approach?" So I boldly introduced generative AI technology and motion graphics. However, I wanted to first find out how effective this would actually be for children at home and how parents would feel about it. Through the honest reviews and feedback of Wadiz supporters—who recognize innovative value first—I will develop this math story into Korea’s top edtech content.

3. I ask for a 'value investment' for our children’s future. All funds raised through this funding will be reinvested entirely into improving content quality. They will be used to create more natural character movements, more refined and rich worksheets, and a variety of additional materials that allow children to enjoy math like play.
