This is how we were born.
Milkin was founded in 2018 by a CEO suffering from psoriasis and experts from various fields who struggled with skin issues such as acne, eczema, and inflammation, all gathering in a small café in Seongsu-dong.
At first, we wanted to create good products to share with people who have skin concerns, and in the process, we realized that we needed to establish a company to sell our products, which led to the creation of our brand and company.
Afterward, we learned that there are many people with even more serious skin concerns than ours, and with a firm belief in making "cosmetics you can trust and use for yourself and for us," we have been dedicated to product development.

Q. After using the product, I am getting more acne. Is this okay?
A. This symptom is the process of acne that was hidden in the dermis coming to the surface, and it can last up to 8 weeks. It is a normal mechanism, so there is no need to worry. However, if the acne continues to appear even after 8 weeks, we recommend temporarily stopping the product and resuming use after the symptoms subside.
Q. There are white hardened areas on the part where I used the product.
A. The white areas on the face are called frosting. This is a normal dermatological mechanism where the combination of acid, alcohol, and resorcinol causes the skin to turn white and flake, so there is no need to worry.
Q. What is the difference between Jessner Peel Original, Essence, and Jessner Gel?
A. Jessner Peel Original has a 100% concentration, while Jessner Peel Essence is a milder essence-type product with about 15% of the original's concentration. Jessner Gel is an ointment-type gel used for localized areas of concern, or a product that controls sebum without irritation to reduce the number of Demodex mites in the hair follicles.
Q. Is it okay for elementary school students to use it?
A. For age groups who are starting to experience acne, using a peeling agent like Jessner Peel Original can help prevent it in the early stages. In the case of AHA and BHA, it is recommended for use from age 3 and up, so elementary school students can use it just like adults, and it is also safe for pregnant women.
Q. Can pregnant women use it?
A. Internationally, it is generally considered safe for pregnant women to use up to 2% salicylic acid (BHA) on localized areas. Jessner Peel Original is also formulated within this safe range, so pregnant women can use it with confidence. However, as individual skin sensitivity and constitution may vary, we recommend a patch test and low-frequency, localized use before regular application.
Q. My skin feels drier after using it.
A. Due to the nature of the ingredients, peeling agents can cause dryness, so it is best to use toner and cream immediately after application. Since Jessner Gel is highly moisturizing, applying Jessner Gel is also recommended.
