Majored in cosmetics,
Worked by exporting famous Korean cosmetics overseas.
I've seen and sold many products,
But there was always the same question lingering in my mind.
"Why are cosmetics that are truly good for daily use so rare?"
The reality faced in the export field
The first thing overseas buyers asked was
It wasn't about the ingredients or the formula.
The same question always came back.
"Is this already a famous brand in Korea or globally?"
No matter how carefully a product was made,
It was hard to be chosen without brand recognition.
That's when I realized for the first time.
Making a good product,
And reaching the market are completely different matters.
The reason we couldn't stop developing
Nevertheless,
We didn't stop developing products.
Rather than following trends
Whether real skin feels comfortable every day,
Whether it can be used comfortably in the morning and evening,
We researched and tested countless times based on those standards.
The conclusion we reached in the process was simple.
The more often you use a lotion,
The more its most basic element, 'water,' needs to be changed.
A choice to start with ingredients instead of water.
So we
Chose "Centella Asiatica Leaf Water 630,000ppm (63%)" instead of purified water
As the base of the lotion.
Rather than simply adding a bit more of an ingredient,
We chose to change the very standard that makes up most of the lotion, And that was our decision.
It was not easy,
And it took more time and cost,
But we could not give up on making choices based on the skin.
Why Wadiz?
We were confident in making products,
But sales were always a difficult area.
So rather than advertising,
A space where products and reasons for choice can be evaluated first. We found it,
and that answer was Wadiz.
This project
is not just about simple sales,
but a process of confirming together, "Do we really need a product with these standards?" It is.
The true meaning of this project
The success of this funding
means more than just numbers.
To the many researchers who have quietly continued testing for a long time and the colleagues who helped,
and to those who supported us in every way,
I want to show the result that "this direction was not wrong."
Not a product chosen because it is famous,
but a product chosen because its standards are clear, to become that,
we started this project.
