Many people are already aware of the microplastic problem in bottled water,

So, is there any bottled water
without microplastics?

Microplastics
are created during the process of making bottled water containers, and this is how they are formed.

The current process, which requires bottled water containers to be made quickly and cheaply,
is the reason why bottled water cannot be free from microplastics.

The bottled water filter started from this question.

The Birth of the Bottled Water Filter

Since childhood, I have been weak and suffered from frequent minor illnesses.
"Illness is caused by the accumulation of what we eat every day." With this belief, I have always been extremely sensitive about what I eat, and when buying food, I check every single food additive and harmful substance before purchasing.

I am very interested in health, and especially sensitive to harmful substances, to the point that I check every food additive.

For health reasons, I have only been drinking bottled water.
In 2019, I saw the news <Detection of Microplastics in Bottled Water>, and it was truly shocking.

However, no matter how much I searched, there was no product that solved this problem.
Since my family and I have to drink it every day, I thought about it a lot.

Bottled water containers rapidly expand small PET, and microplastics are generated due to cracks during this process. 

In contrast, the bottled water filter is made using a circular injection method, so no microplastics are generated, and it is even safer thanks to an air-cleaning process.

My family and I
started this out of concern.

Q. Can it be used with all bottled water?
A. It can be used with almost all bottled water brands distributed in Korea. (Except Fiji Water, Cheongara, Germanium Water, and Dr. M Mineral Balance)

Q. What is the usage period?
A.1 month recommended (up to 2 months)
After about 1 month of use, please replace it with a new filter. You can adjust according to usage, but for hygiene, we recommend replacing it every month.

Q. I see white floating particles. What are they?
A. They are not floating particles, but small bubbles. This occurs as water passes through the fine filter holes, and the bubbles will disappear after a few minutes.

Q. Can I use it immediately after opening?
A.For first use, squeeze out water 2-3 times and discard it.

Q. Can it be used with beverages?
A. It cannot be used with beverages or juice, as the bottle opening size does not fit.

Q. Can I put tea in a water bottle and filter it to drink?
A. Do not use it to filter tea. Tea leaves and residue may clog and contaminate the filter.

Q. Can I use detergent when cleaning?
A. If you use detergent, residue may remain inside the filter, so please clean it with water only.

Q. The bottled water filter is also made of plastic. Are there any microplastics?
A. The bottled water filter is made using an 'injection molding' method that does not generate microplastics. It also goes through an air cleaning process, so you can use it with confidence. However, if you are still concerned, you can rinse it once before use.

Q. What improvements have been made compared to the previous bottled water filter?
A. The previous bottled water filter was difficult to use with lightweight bottles that have short necks. The new filter introduced in this funding can be used with lightweight bottles as well.
