This is the background behind preparing this project.
One day, after living as an office worker for 20 years,
I suddenly wondered if it was meaningful to just endure until retirement like this.
This fundamental question arose.
After much deliberation, I quit my job,
and spent a year searching for questions and answers about 'myself' and 'work.'
This project is a story about 'one' of the many days spent searching for those questions and answers.
For the first time,
The excitement and joy of infinite freedom,
And the anxiety and uncertainty about the future constantly crossed like waves,
I realized the importance of resting well and peacefully,
And wanted to create an incense holder that fits any space,
Is lightweight and easy to carry, so that not only myself,
'Rest' I thought I should share this with those who need it.
Along with the beautiful play of light and shadow,
When you watch the smoke slowly drift along with the scent,
You can feel a sense of freedom that brings peace to your mind without even realizing it.
< just 쉼 > The incense holder is made using the glass art technique,
It was crafted through a total of two kiln processes using the fusing technique,
In particular, the freedom of each piece having a different shape rather than all being the same,
Is the most distinctive feature of this object.
For the colors, I tried to capture nature by using the beautiful traditional Obangsaek colors,
The sizes are available in two options.
The larger size allows for a more free-flowing form.
(Large - approximately 100*25*20mm / Small - approximately 85*25*20mm)
And so that you can use incense from both the popular C and O brands,
The hole for the incense is made to be 2.5mm.
The yellow one holds C brand incense, and the white one holds O brand incense.
So that you can always carry and use it conveniently anytime, anywhere,
It will be sent in a tin case.
The logo is handmade and sent to you.
(Depending on the supply situation, the size of the tin case may vary slightly.)
This is the appearance of the large size [just 쉼].
Although small, it will fill your everyday space with peace and beauty.

"The Hari" has just begun to take a step toward a new path.
In Hari, a beautiful seaside village in Yeongdo, Busan,
I run a sunlit glass art studio,
On a warm spring day coming up in March, I plan to make a fresh start by creating the brand <the hari>.

Through endless questions over the course of a year,
