Maker Introduction

JBK Korea Co., Ltd. is a brand management company that plans, manufactures, and distributes products closely related to daily life, such as home appliances, kitchen appliances, and smart devices, including its own brand OVROOM.

Our goal is not simply to create appliances that are only functional.

Because these are items used every day, we carefully consider design, user experience, and even the emotions contained within.

Among the countless products on the market, we ask ourselves, "Is this really necessary?" and "Could it be used a little more enjoyably?" JBK Korea aims to select products that can enrich life and rebrand them with our own interpretation.

This project also started from the same concerns.

We wondered if it would be possible to experience once again, in our daily lives, the excitement and anticipation of communication, and the weight of a message, which are gradually disappearing in this era of fast and convenient technology.

We believe Wadiz is not just a place to introduce products, but a space where makers can also share their thoughts and sincerity.

Through this project, we will prepare with responsibility until the end so that we can add small joys and meaningful moments to the daily lives of more people.

"Do you remember a time when just one message made your whole day better for no reason?"

Back in the pager days, when we conveyed our feelings with just a few numbers, a message of less than ten characters could get you through the day and make you think of someone.

It was a much slower, but therefore more precious, way of communicating than today.

We wanted to bring back the excitement and anticipation of those times.

That is why we started this project.

While pagers in the past could only send numbers, this time we have included phrases commonly used in Korean culture and daily life.

We have prepared a total of 86 messages so that words like "That's crazy!", "Thank you", "I miss you", and "You did well today"—words that feel awkward to say out loud or that remain unspoken in your heart—can be left just as they are on the pager screen.

Try delivering words like "I'm sorry" and "I love you" in a light, yet memorable way.

We hope this small device will once again become a moment when "just one message was enough" for someone.
