If not now, it's okay to pass by.

However—
If there has ever been a moment when you wanted to see things differently,
Even just once,

This place
Was prepared for you.

The draft is ready.

But to complete it with you,
We have left some space.

Perhaps you too,
Still have a sentence
That you have not yet fully spoken.

That sentence

Could change the ending of this story.

🐾 《The Cat's Three Eyes》

We ask.

Is crying a failure,
Or is it a language?

Is control love,
Or is it fear?

And

Is the opposite of understanding
ignorance,
or is it distance?

👉 Please share your thoughts on this question.

If you are neurodivergent yourself,
If you are a family member of a neurodivergent person,
If you are a professional working for neurodivergent people,

How would you answer?
We want to share and collect these thoughts to publish them as a book.

The starting point of the author

A few years ago, I
prepared an educational project to rebuild the learner's self-concept.

But that concern
was not a universal issue,
but a question that arose from my own neurodivergent experience,
which I realized only later.

The diagnosis provided an explanation,
The explanation was not understanding.

So I
wrote this story.

👉 But
I do not want to complete this story alone.

This book is not finished yet.

No,
It cannot be completed.

Without you.

The Cat's Three Eyes

One family,
One doctor,
And centered around one cat,

Surrounding neurodiversity,
It tells three perspectives.

A perspective that tries to control,
A perspective that tries to understand,
A perspective that tries to remember,

This book
A fairy tale for adults,
and a book for questions.

👉 Go beyond reading, and think together.

Introduction of the Maker

Hello, supporters.
I am Lee Jung-eun from Daziwise.

I am a bit unsure where to begin this story,
so I hesitated for a moment,
and now I greet you with caution.

I showed you a photo first.
Perhaps,
this is how I looked before I started to wander.

As for me now,
after passing through that time,
I am living as a different person.

But one thing has not changed.

👉 I am still
standing on the question, "What is understanding?"

On the surface, I
research educational technology,
support teaching and learning at a university,
and may appear to be a relatively stable professional.

But for a long time
In the midst of depression and anxiety that are hard to explain,
I spent my time.

Why do certain things
feel more difficult to me than to others?
Even I found it hard to understand.

A few years ago, I searched for an answer called learner self-concept,
and prepared an educational project to foster a positive learner self-concept.

However, that concern
was not a universal problem for everyone,
but a question that stemmed from my own experience.
I realized this only later.

During that process,
ADHD was the diagnosis I received.

That diagnosis explained many things to me,
but that explanation did not immediately lead to understanding or a change in attitude.

So I
once again held on to this question.

Who am I,
and how should we understand each other?

While following that question,
I came across the concept of 'neurodiversity', and learned that

a person's mind and way of thinking
are not divided by a single standard,
but exist on a spectrum where different rhythms and characteristics coexist.
I came to understand that fact.

We are all a little different.

The way we think,
the way we feel,
and the way we see the world
are all different.

And I
believe that this very difference
is beauty.

"The Cat's Three Eyes"
is a story that began from that belief.

From the language of diagnosis
to the language of understanding,

from the gaze of judgment
From the perspective of relationships.
This is a story that crosses over.

And now,
I do not want to complete this story alone.

👉 With you, who are reading this letter,
I want to continue together.

Why Wadiz?

This project
is not about selling a finished result,

👉 but about the process of creating together.

I thought Wadiz
was a space where people participating in that process
could come together.
