Hello, I am Kim Yerin, the daughter born in 1996 from 71to96!

Under my mother, a designer who has been making hanbok since 2005,

I have been thinking about how to preserve disappearing traditional materials and hanbok,

how to make them more comfortable,

and how to wear them more often.

With these thoughts, I decided to launch the brand.

My mother, Designer Yoo Hyunhwa,

has continuously operated the traditional hanbok brand 'Yoo Hyunhwa Hanbok',

and has been designing hanbok and modern hanbok that can be worn in daily life.

Nevertheless, among my friends,

it is difficult for women in their 20s to wear 'hanbok' in everyday life,

and to consume 'tradition', as I have personally experienced.

I have felt this firsthand.

That is why the brand 71to96

was created with my mother's craftsmanship,

and my perspective as a daughter who follows trends.

 
We aim to reinterpret tradition so it can be worn comfortably at any time,

and to modernize disappearing traditional fabrics and attire.
