In 2020, I had a great opportunity to hold a solo exhibition in Paris with Marong Company.

Many visitors gave positive feedback, and I wanted to share my artistic world with more people in Korea.

Dream On Studio is a place where the artist communicates and creates every step of the process together, from start to finish.

We want you to enjoy the process of taking photos itself,

and our goal is to make you feel that "taking photos is fun."

The reason I started this series

When I first did a portrait shoot in water in 2008, I was inspired by the way hair floated and flowers bloomed, resembling the birth of life, so I have continued this work ever since.

The reason I often take lying-down photos from above is that I believe flowers look most ideal from that angle. I wanted to capture people in a flat, painterly way.

A concept filled with the artist's unique story over a long period of timeSignature concept I think it can be described as such.

WHY WADIZ?

The advantage of Dream On Studio is that the set continuously changes according to the artist's new concepts.
Supporters who have previously participated in shoots have also expressed a strong desire for new sets.
Therefore, while one purpose was to introduce the existing sets to Wadiz supporters, the ultimate goal is to realize the artist's ideas through new sets.

We have been able to meet many supporters through Wadiz so far.After much effort, we were able to extend the original operation period a little longer. The purpose of this funding is to meet the supporters who have shown interest and support through Wadiz until now.

Reservation guidelines

* Please note that prices may vary due to high demand for weekend reservations.

* Rewards consist of shooting vouchers and memberships. When selecting a reward, you must choose a shooting set as an option.

* If you wish to add people for friendship or couple shoots, we will provide information about the additional cost and details through updates.

* Hair & makeup are provided separately. If desired, we can connect you to a shop within 5 minutes' distance. Detailed information will be provided through updates.

* For additional people in the shoot, please check the updates and inform us in advance before the shoot so we can provide detailed guidance.

Project schedule

* Reservation submission: After the project ends, we will send the shooting reservation form via SMS. (Scheduling will be done sequentially according to membership and payment order, and SMS will be sent in the order of shooting vouchers. The survey will be conducted at intervals of about 7 to 14 days.)

* Reward delivery: This project is a pre-order (reservation purchase) product with a special exclusive domestic configuration. The purchase is completed when you fill out the survey for the shooting date after payment, and the reward will be delivered.

Reservation process

The basic usage period for the Dreamon Studio shooting voucher is available until May 2026.

After that period, it can be adjusted through consultation and extended up to June. Don't worry!

Shooting is scheduled to begin in April 2026, but if you wish to schedule earlier, it can be arranged through consultation.

After the project ends, reservation SMS messages will be sent out sequentially.

After the project ends, a survey will be sent to your mobile phone where you can enter your preferred reservation date. If you fill in your desired date and time slot (planned for 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4:30 PM), we will contact you individually by phone or KakaoTalk to complete your reservation.

Due to the long session time of over 2 hours per supporter, we can accommodate a maximum of 3 teams per day and up to 70 teams per month. Therefore, reservations will be made in the order of payment, and please note that prices may vary due to high demand for weekend bookings.

Directions: How to get here from Seoul (by public transportation)

You can conveniently reach us by taking bus M4137 from Seoul Station or bus 6002 from Gangnam Station.

(Approximately 30 to 40 minutes from Gangnam Station)
There is a bus stop right in front of the studio.
It is within a 5-minute walk from the SRT station, making it convenient to visit even from other regions.

FAQ

Q. What is the maximum number of people allowed for a photoshoot?

A.The photoshoot is based on one person, but with additional participants, up to three people including the supporter are allowed.
If you have more participants, please contact us for further arrangements.

Q. Can I change to a different concept?

A. Yes. The concept can be changed after consultation, and you can also discuss and change the concept on site.

Q. Where does the photoshoot take place? Does it depend on the weather?

A. All photoshoots are held indoors in the studio with lighting, so they are not affected by the weather.

Q. Are there any items to prepare in advance or any pre-meetings?

A.No special preparations are needed. Please feel free to come!

Outfits are provided at the studio, and you can also bring your own props or outfits to use during the shoot.
For matters related to wearing additional outfits such as innerwear, we will send you a separate guide via KakaoTalk during the survey process.

No separate pre-meeting is held,Consultation is conducted via a KakaoTalk survey before the photoshoot. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time!

Q. How are hair and makeup handled?

Hair and makeup are arranged separately. After participating in the funding, we will send you a survey message to schedule your appointment. If you need a salon referral, please indicate it in the survey, and detailed information about the salon will be announced in the updates.

Q. Is additional editing or printing available?

A. Yes, it is possible. Detailed information will be provided in the updates.

Q. When will I receive the original and edited photos?

A. The original photos and 1-2 edited photos are usually provided on the same day, and the remaining photos
are delivered within 1 to 2 weeks.
If you need to leave early, you can check the originals after returning home, select your favorites, and contact us. After editing, we will send them via KakaoTalk or cloud.

Q. What is the exchange/refund/after-sales service policy?

A. Dream On Studio operates with only three teams per day, so schedule changes or cancellations cause significant financial loss to the studio and secondary loss as other supporters cannot use the service.

If your case falls under the conditions listed in the refund/policy tab, a refund is possible as described. Please check this section.

Reward transfers are possible. If you provide the contact information of the transferee, we will assist you with the process.

If you wish to further edit previously retouched photos, we are always happy to help.

Q. Are there any products that are shipped separately?

*This is a photography voucher, so there is no separate product shipment. If you choose to receive prints by courier due to scheduling, we offer free shipping including Jeju and other island/mountainous regions.

Q. What is the validity period?

The basic shooting periodis available until May 2026. After that, it can be extended up to June through consultation, and we will assist you after discussing your needs.

Hello. I am artist Kim Jin Sung from Dream On Studio.

When I first photographed people in water in 2008, I was deeply moved by the sight of hair floating in the water and flowers blooming from it, which reminded me of life blossoming. This inspiration has kept me working on this theme.
The reason I often take photos from above is because I believe flowers look most ideal when viewed from above.

When working on concept shoots, many non-models inquired about participating, but I remember that the costs for props and locations were too high for ordinary people to afford, so I couldn't proceed with those shoots.
On the other hand, I felt regret seeing so many so-called 'life photos' or family photos taken against simple backgrounds.

I wanted to create a studio where ordinary people could be photographed against backgrounds with the same quality as celebrity photo shoots.
I also wanted to incorporate the concepts from my solo exhibitions into the studio.
I integrated materials I had carefully considered, such as real butterflies rarely seen in regular studios, forest-like sets, large silk flowers, deserts made of real sand, and pressed flowers made from real flowers.

I think photo shoots are similar to the process of traveling.
Just as traveling is a process of discovering new places and tastes, photo shoots should also be based on new experiences, such as using materials or backgrounds not usually seen, special concepts, editing together with the artist, and printing large photos, to be truly enjoyable.

If you approach a photo shoot with the mindset of 'going on a photo journey,' you will enjoy the moment itself, and it will remain as an unforgettable day of travel.
