The background behind preparing this project is,
Every summer, I tried buying clothes that claimed to be cool, but even with a little movement, I would sweat and feel the discomfort of fabric sticking to my skin. There are many cooling products, but none that truly feel cool.
Achuchu has spent four years researching 'summer sleep' and has applied TsunoogaⓇ cooling fabric to bedding. After being verified by 60,000 people through bedding, we have now, after three years of development, made cooling pants for daily wear using this fabric. We are introducing them for the first time through Wadiz.
This project we are presenting has this story behind it.
Achuchu Cooling Pants feature a dual structure: the outside is a well-fitted pair of training pants, and the inside is made of 100% TsunoogaⓇ cooling fabric. Only the wearer knows the difference inside.
Let me tell you three key differentiators.
First, it is -7.5℃ upon contact. It has 10 times the thermal conductivity compared to regular cooling fabrics. This is true cooling that lowers your skin temperature the moment it touches you.
Second, it does not stick even when you sweat. With Deo-Guard™ deodorizing technology, it absorbs and decomposes 99% of the substances that cause body odor and sweat odor while you wear it. This effect lasts even after washing.
Third, the fabric is certified OEKO-TEX® Class 1 for baby products. Since the fabric touches your skin directly, we chose the highest safety standard.

For four years, I have focused solely on the topic of 'summer sleep.' Through research on how temperature regulation during sleep affects sleep quality, I applied TsunoogaⓇ cooling fabric to bedding, which was verified with 60,000 units sold and over 5 billion KRW in sales.
The Achuchu Cooling Pad achieved about 6,000% in the previous Wadiz funding. Now, we confidently present cooling pants made from the same fabric.
I became convinced that this fabric could be worn during waking hours as well. Achuchu Cooling Pants is a project born from that conviction.

Achuchu Cooling Pants is a product you won't easily find on the market. This is the first attempt to develop TsunoogaⓇ cooling fabric for apparel. We wanted to start together with those who want to experience it first. We hope Wadiz supporters will become Achuchu's very first customers.
