5. Tool details
The tools are configured slightly differently for each package.

15cm bamboo embroidery hoop
The unique grain of the wood gives it a certain atmosphere, and it is a commonly used embroidery hoop.

Beech embroidery hoop 8, 12.5, 16cm
This embroidery hoop has a smoother finish and a more luxurious feel.

No. 10 embroidery needle
A bundle contains 25 needles, and it is suitable for making thin and long embroidery stitches.
If you do embroidery with a regular needle, the holes will be large.

Sewing needle
One bundle contains 16 needles: 8 of 38mm, 6 of 47mm, and 2 of 53mm.
The individual needle contains a medium-sized needle used only for 0.7x43mm.

Basting pin
These are pretty pearl basting pins. There are 40 pins on one plate.

Basting clip
This is a mini clip with a pointed tip for more precise gripping, not a regular small clip.

0.5, 1.0mm heat erasable pen
This is a special pen that erases when exposed to high heat, such as with a hair dryer or ironing.

Threader
When threading a needle, insert the threader into the needle eye, put the thread through, and pull; the thread will automatically go through the needle.

Metal thimble
When pushing a needle through multiple layers of fabric, using this as support will reduce hand pain.

Seam ripper
If you sew incorrectly, hold the fabric on both sides and use the seam ripper to cut the thread easily.

25mm large tweezers
These are large tweezers that allow you to stuff cotton thoroughly even in hard-to-reach places.

14cm forceps
These forceps are made of STS420 stainless steel, supplied for medical use.
With extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance, there is no twisting, ensuring a good fit.
It is resistant to moisture, but may corrode if exposed to salt or strong acidic substances, so please be careful.

** [Note] Kitchen scissors are made of 304 stainless steel, which has a low chromium content and high carbon content,
If left in a humid place, fine rust may form.

Curved tweezers
These are tweezers with a curved tip, making it convenient to apply glue when picking up small parts.

Thread snips
These are basic white thread snips with a safety cap.

Mini curved scissors
These scissors allow for more comfortable and precise trimming of fur when making animal ears compared to regular scissors.

YDL cutting scissors 9 inch
The black blade looks luxurious, is lighter than dragonfly scissors, and 9 inches is the most common size.

Duck lint roller 10cm
It is useful for removing fur after cutting fabric and before the fur scatters.

Diagonal refill for 40 uses.

Blush brush
Used to apply pastels, shadow, etc., to give dolls a more three-dimensional makeup look.

6. Material details
The materials are slightly different for each package.

40s 2-ply sewing thread 160m
40s refers to the thickness of the thread, and 2-ply means it is made by twisting two strands together.
This is a basic thread commonly used for general sewing.

120d/2 embroidery thread
For hand embroidery, 120d/2 is mainly used, while for machine embroidery, 75~120d/2 is used.
Hand embroidery cannot make thousands or tens of thousands of stitches like machine embroidery, so a thicker thread is used.
Machine embroidery sometimes uses basic thread, but for finer detail, a higher stitch count and thinner thread may be used.

1.5mm soft boa heavy-weight skin fabric
This is a thick, heavy-weight domestic skin fabric produced directly at the Yangju factory.

1.5mm, 3mm, 5mm velboa, 10mm mink, 40mm long pile hair fabric
This is domestic fabric supplied from places such as the Yangju factory and Pocheon fabric warehouse.

PA double-sided fusible interfacing
When attaching fabric to fabric, glue is applied on both sides, so you place it in between and iron it to bond the two fabrics together.

35um water-soluble film
This is a guide film used for embroidery. After drawing a design on the water-soluble film with a heat pen, place it together with the fabric in the embroidery hoop, embroider along the design, then rinse in water to dissolve and remove the film.

Water-soluble adhesive embroidery stabilizer
This is a stabilizer attached to the back of the fabric when embroidering.
Attaching a stabilizer to the back makes embroidery firmer than embroidering directly on the fabric. It is similar to the nonwoven fabric attached inside hats or clothes.

Blush powder
This is a soft pastel powder with colors directly produced by Hello Gongbang.
For blush, soft pastels and eyeshadows are often used, but be careful with oily eyeshadows made for humans. While they look pretty when first applied, over time the oil can oxidize, leaving greasy stains or turning dark.

Cotton frame
The frame included in the package is a silent frame. There are also sound frames that make a noise when bent, but the silent frame has smoother joints for posing.

Cloud cotton
This is premium cotton treated for static electricity and antibacterial properties. Low-quality cotton tends to leave residue on your hands due to static. Hello Gongbang sells both cloud cotton and ball cotton, but since ball cotton is used for making soft plushies, cloud cotton is more suitable for idol dolls.

3mm 5mm elastic band
Although ears can be sewn on, this band is used if you want to make them detachable. If you make them detachable, you can remove the ears when dressing the doll in a hood or similar clothing, allowing for a cleaner and prettier look.

Hello Gongbang is a brand mainly dealing in doll fabric and accessories, and has been operating for about four years.
Recently, by chance, I had the good opportunity to connect with MKYU of Korea Academic Information,' Guidebook + DIY Kit ' We are starting production and would like to introduce it first through Wadiz.

It wasn't common before, but hasn't there been an increase in the sale of small quantities of fur fabric on the market lately?

To tell you a bit about Hello Gongbang, it didn't start with a grand plan. I unexpectedly had to take a break from work due to COVID-19, and one day I wanted to make a cute doll. When I went to the fabric market, I couldn't find small quantities of fabric... That's how the shop began, out of that disappointment.

All I needed was a palm-sized piece of fur fabric, but the market only sold it in large '1 yard' units, as big as a blanket. Even when I asked if they could sell me just a '1/2 half yard,' I was refused. Honestly, even half a yard was too much for me.

"Fur fabric is expensive, and maybe there are others like me who only need a palm-sized piece?"

That small question became the first step for Hello Gongbang. I wanted to solve the frustration I felt for those who hesitated to start because large pieces of fabric felt overwhelming. With that in mind, I started from the ground up, searching the markets myself. Four years have passed since then, and thanks to your warm support, I have grown to the point where I can request custom colors (BT) directly from factories.

After working with doll fabrics for a long time, I began to notice the shortcomings of existing materials. Domestic skin fabrics on the market were too saturated, making them look a bit tacky for doll skin, while imported fabrics were too thin for embroidery, causing puckering or holes if stitched in one spot.
