No more forgettable reading!
If you write in order,
You can grasp the logic of the book at a glance.
Stays in your memory for a long time.'Structured Reading Notes'

"I definitely read it, so why is nothing left?"

I thought I understood while reading.
I underlined and marked good sentences.

But the moment I closed the book,
I couldn't remember the contents of the book.

"Ah, I definitely read it,
but what was it about..?"

I went back to the previous sentence, to the previous chapter,
and then it took more time and the flow kept getting interrupted.

Reading takes time and energy,
but often I felt like nothing remained after reading.

I realized that reading a lot and reading memorably are different,
and I felt it every time.

I didn't want reading to end with just finishing a book,
I wanted to read in a way that stays in my memory.

I read one book every week,
but what frustrated me the most was
reading that leaves nothing behind’.

Hello.
I am the maker'Iso'.

Since 2022, I have been running a bookstagram,
reading and recording more than 50 books every year.

Through activities such as being a publisher supporter, running a book club,
and working as a Trevari partner,

I have not only read books,
but also consistently shared and introduced them to others.

Although I have read more consistently than anyone else,
when I actually tried to recommend a book or write a review,
there were many times when the content I read did not come to mind clearly.

Reading a lot and reading in a memorable way
I felt deeply that I was different each time.

So I didn't just let what I read slip away,
and started to create a structure that would help me remember it.

This notebook began from the problems I repeatedly encountered while reading for a long time.
It started from the issues I faced over and over again.

This notebook is
not a notebook for recording a lot,

but for capturing one book more clearly.
It is a notebook.

Most reading journals on the market are usually organized all at once after finishing a book,
or they collect good sentences and leave impressions.

But that method always felt lacking to me.

Even if I wrote down good sentences, the overall flow of the book was not well preserved,
and often, even if there were records, they did not lead to my own thoughts.

This notebook is
not simply a way to copy content,
but is designed to follow the flow of the book, organize it in my own words,
and allow me to revisit it after reading.

This notebook focuses less on 'what to write',
and more on 'when and in what flow to write'.
Considered it important.

01. Instead of following from start to finish,
Look at the structure first.

If you start reading from the main content,
It's easy to lose track of where you are in the material.

If you grasp the overall context first and then start reading,
You will have fewer moments of wondering, "Why is this content here?"
The moments of confusion decrease.

02. Instead of organizing everything after finishing the reading,
You can record immediately according to the reading flow.

If you organize everything at once after finishing the book,
Your memory may fade, and you often have to open the book again.

So you can record immediately according to the reading flow,
It is composed as one set per book.

Your notes won't pile up, and the flow of the book you're reading is less interrupted.

03. It doesn't end with just collecting good sentences.
It doesn't.You also leave your own thoughts.

When writing notes, you often end up writing as if it's a transcription notebook.
This notebook is designed to summarize key points, capture spontaneous thoughts, and help you interpret and apply what you've read.

Following the flow of the book,
So that what you read remains in your thoughts,
It is structured accordingly.

Part 1. INTRO

An introduction to understand the background and purpose of the text first.

Before diving into the main content, this stage clarifies what issues the book addresses,
And determines in which direction you will read.

If you grasp the overall flow before you start reading,
The position of what you are reading now becomes much clearer.

Part 2. MAIN

The main section where you follow and organize the key content.

Along with questions that follow the content,
It is designed so you can record thoughts that arise while reading.
Instead of simply transcribing the author's words,

You go through the process of organizing them once more in your own words,
So that what you read stays with you much longer.

Part 3. OUTRO

The stage for wrapping up the entire book.

A one-line review, your thoughts on the author's arguments,
Points you want to actually apply,
It is organized so you can summarize them.

It's not just about finishing the book after reading it,
but about connecting what you've read to your own life,

designed as a final step.

Part 4. WORD

Even if you collect unknown words, you end up using only the ones you already know.
It's not just a space for collecting, but for learning in your own words.

Not only the meaning, but also synonyms and example sentences,
so you can organize them all together.

Part 5. GUIDE

So that even first-time users can start right away,
we have prepared a writing guide.

You can see how to write each section in order,
along with actual writing examples.

The moment I realized the effectiveness of this method was
that I wandered less while reading.

Before, I often had to flip back to previous pages while reading,
but now it's much clearer where I am in the book.

What I liked most of all was
"I definitely read it, but I can't remember."

I started to blame myself less.

The time spent reading a book no longer felt like time just passing by,
but started to feel like time gradually accumulating.

Books that once felt too daunting to even attempt,
I was able to grasp the overall flow and read even thick books,
and I experienced finishing them to the end.

The moment I closed the book,
even if I couldn't remember every detail perfectly,
at least I could recall what kind of flow the book had,
and it remained much clearer than before.

It wasn't a perfectly structured system from the beginning.

In the initial planning stage, there were many more questions,
and the recording flow was more complicated than it is now.

After trying out the sample myself,
I realized that the more questions there are, the more burdensome the recording becomes,

and if the flow of questions is awkward,
it becomes difficult to write.

Through multiple tests, I reduced the number of questions,
and reorganized the recording flow.
The current version of the notebook has been completed.

Just because you read a lot,
doesn't mean everything stays with you.

After reading books for a long time,
I realized that consistently reading,
and having what you read remain within you,
are different things, and I have felt this many times.

So this notebook
is not for leaving a lot of records,
but was created with the intention of making each book you read stay a little clearer,
in your memory.

For those who, like me, felt frustrated because they couldn't remember what they read,
I hope you can experience the feeling of books piling up through this funding.

I hope you can experience it.
