The background for preparing this project is,
- After moving, when you feel an inexplicable anxiety, or when you want to celebrate a loved one's new beginning in a special way, we often look for a small symbol to lean our hearts on.
Since ancient times, our ancestors placed salt at the entrance to ward off bad luck and kept moon jars to wish for abundance and harmony in the home. However, rustic salt jars or similar moon jars have always felt out of place and burdensome in modern interiors.
As a ceramic artist, I wondered if I could blend this warm tradition into modern spaces as a natural and cute accent. I wanted to fill daily life with objects that simply make you feel good, rather than rough traditional ornaments. With the sincere wish for a space that removes bad energy and fills only with good fortune, I have prepared the [Fortune Jar Series: Evil-Repelling Salt Jar & Tipsy Moon Jar].
The precious funds raised through this campaign will be used as a valuable foundation for Studio Hands to research and develop a new lineup of ceramics that embody 'warm comfort and good luck.' I hope these small jars, crafted with care, will become steadfast guardians in your space.
This project we are presenting has such a story.
- Studio Hands' [Fortune Jar Series] was born by adding a modern touch to traditional values. Beyond simply being beautiful objects, we introduce special rewards that bring luck and well-being into everyday life.

First, the symbol of purification that wards off misfortune [Evil-Repelling Salt Jar] - Salt has long been believed to have the power to repel negativity and purify spaces. But no longer put salt in a rough plastic bag and leave it at the entrance. Studio Hands' salt jar preserves the beauty of Korean curves while blending seamlessly into modern interiors. Place it at the entrance to block bad energy from outside, or use it in the kitchen as a guardian for your family's health. Salt Jar Detailed Components (Full Set)

The moon jar itself symbolizes abundance and well-being. The Gojumangtae Moon Jar is designed in a compact size that fits perfectly on any desk or shelf, lightening the heavy feeling of traditional large jars. Experience the aesthetics of feeling fulfilled just by leaving it empty. It is crafted with the hope that everything in life will resolve smoothly and harmoniously, like the full moon.

Not only is it aesthetically pleasing as an interior accessory, but it also carries a deep meaning of wishing for good fortune, making it a perfect gift for yourself or for someone special as a housewarming or business opening present.
Hello, supporters! I am a ceramic artist at Studio Hands who creates objects that bring a smile to your daily life.Studio Hands Representative and artist, Sumin Kim.

When I first started ceramics, people around me worried, saying, "Aren't traditional ceramics rough and difficult?" However, I believe that the moment I give a cute expression to ceramics, the hard clay becomes a friend that can share stories with us.
Every time we receive messages from customers saying, "It makes me happy every day because it's so cute," when they encounter our work in person, I realize something. What I create is not just simple ceramics, but a witty sincerity that fills your precious space with positive energy.
The neat expression of the salt jar that greets me when I enter the entrance, and the moon jar on the desk that makes you smile without thinking. These lucky jars, fired solidly in a kiln at 1,250 degrees, are meant to bring definite and delightful luck to your everyday life.
The reason we came to Wadiz
The reason we came to Wadiz is not simply to sell products. We wanted to show how the traditional message of 'warding off bad luck and inviting good fortune' can become a stylish and enjoyable object in modern spaces, the value of a new lifestyle and to share that with our supporters.
Studio Hands' [Lucky Jar Series] is a carefully planned product that allows anyone to easily and lightly enjoy the pleasures of everyday life. We went through countless sampling processes to reinterpret traditional symbols with a modern aesthetic, and enhanced the quality by finding the cutest and most friendly expressions.
We hope that these lucky jars, with their stable quality and high level of design, will reach more people's spaces through Wadiz and become 'messengers of luck' that bring a pleasant smile every day. The support you give through funding will greatly help Studio Hands continue to present even wittier and more charming character ceramics.
