A chicken sandwich discovered by chance at the White Orchard tavern, meat stew and vodka at Crow's Perch, golden onion soup at the Spearhead Inn, and a warm cherry-flavored beer enjoyed during a storm at an inn. The fine wines and desserts of Beauclair—each recipe is introduced with the story of the first encounter with the dish.

In this quest, while performing the ritual to lift Uma's curse, an extremely exhausted Yennefer asks Geralt to cook for her. She requests a simple scrambled egg or omelet, with onions, mushrooms, and pepper.

Our tough guy Geralt, who usually only slays monsters, carefully makes an omelet. The taste doesn't matter. What matters is that he makes the omelet just for her!

[Main Contents of This Book]

In this book, a fictional character (a cartographer from Kovir) who did not appear in the game or novel serves as the narrator. He travels through the Witcher world, tasting the unique dishes of each region and introducing their recipes.

Before each regional recipe begins, the atmosphere of the land is conveyed first.
The dusty roads of White Orchard, the fog of Velen, the smell of the docks in Novigrad, the salty winds of Skellige. The cartographer from Kovir records the scenery and smells he encounters the moment he sets foot in each region, as well as his memories of tasting the local food for the first time. Before seeing the list of ingredients, the reader first learns about the land, the people, and the moment when the dish was born. Food becomes not just a recipe, but a place in itself.

The dishes introduced while traveling through eight regions (White Orchard / Velen / Oxenfurt / Novigrad / Skellige Isles / Beauclair / Toussaint / Kaer Morhen) are based on real Polish and European traditional recipes, so anyone can easily try making them.
