[About this book...]
In an age of swords and magic, where monsters are fought, a cartographer from Kovir travels through the Northern Kingdoms of the Witcher world, recording recipes of dishes personally tasted on the journey in this culinary travelogue.
A chicken sandwich discovered by chance at the White Orchard tavern, meat stew and vodka at Crow's Perch, golden onion soup at the Spearhead Inn, and a warm cherry-flavored beer enjoyed during a storm at an inn. The fine wines and desserts of Beauclairโeach recipe is introduced with the story of the first encounter with the dish.
[One of the most notable features of this book!]
There is a deleted quest in the game [The Witcher 3].
"The Ugliest Man Alive / Bar Pail, Elain"
In this quest, while performing the ritual to lift Uma's curse, an extremely exhausted Yennefer asks Geralt to cook for her. She requests a simple scrambled egg or omelet, with onions, mushrooms, and pepper.
Our tough guy Geralt, who usually only slays monsters, carefully makes an omelet. The taste doesn't matter. What matters is that he makes the omelet just for her!

(You can watch the related quest video on YaniKnight's YouTube channel.)
However, this cooking quest has been removed from the game (for reasons unknown).
But the recipe still remains.
Right. In. This. Book!
What could Geralt's omelet made for Yennefer have tasted like?
[Why This Book Is Special for Witcher Fans]
Make the food from the game with your own hands.
Geralt's omelet for Yennefer at Kaer Morhen, Witchers' potions (Swallow/Thunder/White Gull), donuts topped with plum jam and bacon from the streets of Novigrad, and warm cherry-scented beer at the Larvik Inn in Skellige, where you take shelter from the storm. You can now make with your own hands the foods you only saw in the game.
The taste of dishes made with the original author's recipes.
Andrzej Sapkowski not only gave a simple endorsement, but gladly wrote a recommendation from the perspective of someone who enjoys cooking and tasting food himself. Many of the various dishes appearing in the Witcher novels are deeply rooted in his precious memories and experiences. In particular, the "Mahakam Zalevayka Soup" included in the book is based on his personal recipe, and he concluded his recommendation by saying he would make the "Kashanka Fried Egg from the Velen Inn" himself and dedicate it sincerely to the authors. The creator of the Witcher world personally verified the taste of that world. What could it taste like?
The world you once overlooked comes alive again.
Before each recipe, the story of the place and moment where the food was born unfolds first. The Velen Crossroads Inn, the Oxenfurt Alchemist's Inn, and the Chameleon Inn in Novigrad, which you may have just passed by in the game, come to life in this book. Even fans who have already cleared the game will discover new details they may have missed while reading this book.
Become even closer to the characters.
"Geralt's Omelet Dedicated to Yennefer," "Ciri's Morning Oatmeal Porridge," "Lambert's Herb and Tvarog Dumplings," "Vesemir's Special Bean & Tomato Stew," "Eskel's Favorite Tvarog Cheese." As you make recipes named after the characters, you will vividly recall each one. While cooking, you will feel as if you are with the Witchers at Kaer Morhen.
[Recommendation from Witcher Creator Andrzej Sapkowski]

"Most of the food descriptions in the Witcher world come from my life experiences. They are deeply intertwined with my memories and are filled with warm, nostalgic recollections. ...omitted... Now, I think it's about time I cook something delicious myself. I plan to make the 'Kashanka Fried Egg from the Velen Inn' from this book. Though small, I offer my heartfelt dedication to the authors who created this wonderful book."
[Main Contents of This Book]
In this book, a fictional character (a cartographer from Kovir) who did not appear in the game or novel serves as the narrator. He travels through the Witcher world, tasting the unique dishes of each region and introducing their recipes.
Before each regional recipe begins, the atmosphere of the land is conveyed first.
The dusty roads of White Orchard, the fog of Velen, the smell of the docks in Novigrad, the salty winds of Skellige. The cartographer from Kovir records the scenery and smells he encounters the moment he sets foot in each region, as well as his memories of tasting the local food for the first time. Before seeing the list of ingredients, the reader first learns about the land, the people, and the moment when the dish was born. Food becomes not just a recipe, but a place in itself.
The dishes introduced while traveling through eight regions (White Orchard / Velen / Oxenfurt / Novigrad / Skellige Isles / Beauclair / Toussaint / Kaer Morhen) are based on real Polish and European traditional recipes, so anyone can easily try making them.

The one and only visual history book that records everything about the Witcher universe!
[World of the Witcher]

What is [The World of the Witcher]?

[The World of the Witcher] is the official visual history book and setting guide of the Witcher universe, created by the Polish game studio CD PROJEKT RED. Based on the original novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, this book meticulously records every element that makes up the vast history, geography, politics, races, magic, religion, culture, and even the ecology of monsters in the expanded Witcher universe, from the games [The Witcher 1, 2, 3: Wild Hunt].
This is not just a book explaining the game's background, but a chronicle that documents everything about the world where Witchers operate, as well as an art book that offers visual delight. It brings together in one volume the complex destinies of main characters like Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri, and Dandelion, the political history of the Northern Kingdoms and the Nilfgaardian Empire, the origin and decline of Witchers, and the wars and tides of fate that shook the Continent.
This book is written from the perspective of Dandelion, Geralt's longtime friend and a well-known bard. As he travels through the Witcher world, he tells the history of humans, elves, dwarves, the Nilfgaardian Empire, the Northern Kingdoms, mages, and monsters. Completed in a way that feels like reading a grand epic, this book will be fascinating for readers new to the Witcher universe and deeply moving for fans who have already experienced countless battles alongside Geralt.

[Reason for launching on Wadiz]
It is often difficult to fully capture the value of artbooks and setting books for enthusiasts through traditional publishing methods alone. That is why we chose Wadiz. We believe that the journey of makers and supporters communicating directly and completing a book together in the space of crowdfunding best fits the nature of this project.
We have included a recommendation from the creator of the Witcher universe,Andrzej Sapkowski, and [The Official Witcher Cookbook], officially recognized by the game developer of [The Witcher],CDPR, will be introduced for the first time in Korea through Wadiz. For Wadiz supporters participating in this project, special rewards ([Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Poster] and [Witcher World Large Map]) will be securely packed in a sturdy poster tube to prevent any creasing during delivery. These will be valuable collectibles exclusively for Wadiz supporters, distinct from what will be available in regular bookstores in the future.
