Q. How does CLIPON work depending on the weight of the bag?

Shoulder straps usually slip off when the bag is light. In this case, CLIPON works effectively as a non-slip grip.
If the bag is very heavy, the strap typically does not slip—instead, it may press down on your shoulder. In that case, we recommend positioning CLIPON slightly lower toward the chest area or removing it from the shoulder.
CLIPON is designed to prevent strap slippage. It does not function as a cushion or provide weight distribution support.

Q. The strap still slips even after installation.

When attached to the strap, CLIPON creates friction and resistance against clothing to reduce slipping.
In measurable terms, it reduces slippage by approximately 70–80%, though it does not eliminate it 100%. However, you will notice a clear difference before and after installation.

Q. The clip rolls upward vertically along the strap.

This may occur if the bag is too heavy. In this case, try reversing the direction of the clip during installation.

Q. What is the sandal charm button used for?

Customers who purchase through this pre-order will receive a special sandal charm part. The standard push pin included in previous packages is not included in this edition.

Q. Is there a larger size available?

Some customers wonder whether a larger size would be more effective for wider straps. CLIPON is designed in the smallest optimized size that effectively prevents slipping across various shoulder bag strap types. Small, but powerful.
However, it is not suitable for oversized bags or backpacks where strap slippage does not typically occur.
Compatible strap thickness: up to 4.5mm.

Q. The clip feels tight.

CLIPON is manufactured with optimal tension to firmly grip the strap. Since it must securely hold items without slipping, installation may feel tight.
Please note: Marks may appear on leather straps.

Manual Clip Adjustment

If the strap is thicker or made of a delicate material, forcing the clip on without adjustment may cause damage.
The clip gap can be manually adjusted.
The internal metal frame inside the silicone is originally set to fit thinner eco-bag straps. For thicker straps, you may widen the gap slightly by applying controlled pressure.

How to adjust:
Insert an object approximately 1cm wide (for example, a disposable lighter) about one-third of the way into the silicone clip opening, then remove it. This will widen the gap.

⚠ Once widened, the gap will not return to its original size. Please avoid over-adjusting. We recommend keeping the clip slightly tight to prevent detachment.

Defective Product

If the clip does not hold onto the strap and detaches easily without resistance, it may be defective.
Please send a message to the manufacturer with details of the issue and the specific clip involved.

Cleaning

If the outer silicone becomes dirty, it can be removed from the internal metal frame and washed separately.

Magnet Compatibility

CLIPON contains an internal metal frame, making it compatible with magnets.
