Q3. Isn't it heavier compared to smaller reel cables?

True camping experts say that their gear is prepared very simply...^^ There is always a lot of camping gear... Many people worry about volume and weight. The auto reel cable has an internal winding mechanism, so it inevitably has a certain weight. The spring-like structure automatically winds the cable. Typical outdoor reel cables weigh less than about 2.5kg, while the auto reel is about 4.3kg or less. Also, since reel cables are not moved around much at the campsite, I want to emphasize the convenience and practicality of easy winding over the weight difference.

Q4. When winding the cable automatically, does the last part not go in well?

When the auto reel cable is unwound, its rigidity increases and it gains the force to wind the cable. When you press the auto winding button, it releases and the cable is pulled in. If a small portion of the cable remains after winding, simply pull out about 1-2 meters and press the button again to wind it. This is not a defect. If you have used a corded vacuum cleaner at home, you might understand better. Have you seen how it winds slowly at the end? The auto reel is the same; when fully wound, the tension decreases and it may wind more weakly. After a few uses, you'll get the hang of it...^^

Q5. Does the power keep cutting off during use?

Camping reel cables are wound up. There is a voltage difference compared to power strips used at home. Because the cable is coiled, heat is generated due to current interference. Therefore, it is certified for a lower safe voltage. When using high-voltage tools outdoors, at campsites, or especially at worksites, you must fully unwind the cable to use the rated voltage. When using multiple camping products, always check the total voltage and use them safely. RED188 is a safety-certified product with a built-in overload protection device, so you can use it with peace of mind.

Q6. Is there an auto reel with a charging port?

No, unfortunately, there is no charging port. Currently, the auto reel is a cap-type with a 4-outlet socket, but we will consider adding this feature in the future, taking into account design size and length adjustments.
