"Sweetness from Nature, Fig Compote"

The taste of autumn captured in sweetness,
We offer you a healthy sweetness by simmering sun-ripened figs just as they are!

Figs are known to have been a favorite fruit among Roman nobles,

Perhaps that's why figs have long been called the 'fruit of paradise' and have been highly valued.

I had always heard that figs were a premium fruit, a truly delicious fruit, but honestly, I didn't really enjoy eating figs before. To be honest, when I ate fresh figs, I didn't really feel like they were "truly delicious!!"

But after trying fig preserves as a dessert at a restaurant, my opinion completely changed.

After tasting those fig preserves, I thought, 'This is why people say figs are so delicious.'

Figs, a superfood gifted by nature,Rich in dietary fiber which helps with digestive and gut health,

Potassium helps balance sodium in the body and contributes to blood pressure regulation.

Also, the calcium and magnesium found in figs help keep your bones strong,

Iron is known to help reduce fatigue and prevent anemia~

That's why figs are the ideal fruit for those who want both sweetness and health!

Made with the intense sunlight of midsummer and the warm sunshine of autumn,

We now present you with a healthy sweetness made by simmering sun-ripened figs just as they are!!

The figs we are presenting this time are made using figs grown in Haenam, Korea.

Haenam is a region where the land meets the sea, so the figs are grown healthily in fertile loess soil, nourished by sea breezes. That's why we chose to harvest and present these figs!

These freshly harvested Haenam figs are carefully prepared and simmered with honey and sugar to make this product.

The fig compote contains 70% figs and 30% honey and fructose.

It is made with a high ratio of figs!

The honey and raw sugar used are also carefully selected, just like the Haenam figs!

1. Unrefined organic raw sugar from Brazil!!

We use organic raw sugar from Brazil, which is famous as the home of organic sugar. During the production of unrefined sugar,The principles of no additives, no bleaching, and no artificial coloring. We use unrefined organic raw sugar from Jalles Machado, a company with 40 years of tradition that adheres to these principles, and add it to our fig compote!

2. Use of native acacia honey!!

There are various types of honey, such as acacia honey, wildflower honey, and chestnut honey, each with its own unique taste and characteristics!

This is the most popular honey, made from the nectar of acacia flowers that bloom in spring. It has a pleasant aroma and is widely enjoyed by many people. Acacia honey is less sweet compared to other honeys, but it pairs well with food and has a lighter color.

Wildflower honey, also known as multifloral honey, is made from the nectar of various flowers rather than a single type. It is rich in vitamins and is preferred by those who love and frequently consume honey. Its color is darker than acacia honey.

Chestnut honey is a deep brown color and has a thick consistency. It is less sweet than other honeys, but is so rich in nutrients that it is sometimes called medicinal honey and enjoyed by the spoonful.

For this fig compote, the sweetness of the honey is not overpowering,

It is crafted to best enhance the flavor and blend well with the natural sweetness of the figs.

It is made using acacia honey.

"A premium compote that completes gourmet tastes."

<How to Enjoy Fig Compote Deliciously>

As I mentioned earlier, figs taste even better when enjoyed as a compote rather than eating the fruit as is. Let me introduce the best way to enjoy fig compote.

1. Enjoy on top of cream cheese with bread.

Spread a layer of cream cheese on simple breads like baguette or rye, then add fig compote on top and enjoy together. This is my favorite combination—the mildness of the bread, the smoothness of the cream cheese, and the sweetness of the fig blend perfectly, reminding me why figs were called the fruit of paradise in ancient Rome.

2. Use as a salad dressing with oil.

This time, here is a recipe to pair with a refreshing and light salad. Mix fig compote with olive oil to make a thin dressing, then drizzle it over your salad.

Sometimes salads can feel bland without dressing. Instead of the usual Caesar, mustard, or sesame dressings, why not try a seasonal fig compote dressing that you can only enjoy in autumn?

You will be able to create a sweet yet sophisticated salad.

3. Enjoy with fresh figs.

This is truly a luxurious recipe. Simply split a fig by hand or with a knife, place fig compote on top, and enjoy. This combination pairs wonderfully with wine or beer, making it a simple yet elegant appetizer I highly recommend.

4. Use as a versatile topping.

There are many other delicious ways to enjoy fig compote, but one of the most popular is as a topping. At home, you can add a spoonful to pancakes or waffles, or use it as a topping on yogurt with granola or cereal for a gourmet touch.

Many people enjoy Greek yogurt with honey, but if you use fig compote instead, you won't need any other fruit or honey toppings—Greek yogurt and fig compote alone are delicious.

Also great as a topping for cheesecake or nut tarts.

Add a generous amount and it will taste like a dessert from a hotel.

You won't envy anything else!

<Storage Method and Shelf Life>

The fig compote comes in a 300g container and should be refrigerated. The shelf life is about two months from the date of manufacture.

If you wish to store it for a long time, please freeze it in the container you received and thaw it in the refrigerator before use.

When stored frozen, the shelf life is about 6 months. Please consume opened compote as soon as possible, and when portioning, use a dry, unused spoon.
