We started a project to make one product last longer and work harder, through a new way of swapping objets.
PROJECT STORY
WHY
Caps keep piling up at home — and today you're wondering what to wear again?
Don't you find yourself buying a new hat every time the season changes? Before you know it, your closet has a stack of caps worn only a handful of times.
The global fashion industry generates an estimated 92 million tons of textile waste every year.
I can't change the world on my own, but I wanted to help — even just a little.
"Isn't there a way to use things a little longer?"
That question is where ZANGLANG began this project.
So here's what we thought.
SOLUTION
"What if we didn't change the cap — just the design on it??"
Finally! After several rounds of testing the attachment method and more than 10 rounds of refinement, we completed ZANGLANG's own Velcro + snap combination structure.
Easy to swap, yet securely fixed — enjoy a variety of styles from a single ball cap.

The ZANGLANG logo is engraved onto the Velcro center using a high-frequency embossing technique, tone-on-tone, for extra detail.
Long Strap
A trendy long strap (approx. 8cm) frames the face naturally for a slimmer silhouette.
Buckle
A laser-engraved ZANGLANG symbol on the rear buckle carries the brand's identity.
Label
A rear-left label features ZANGLANG's signature crack graphic — even the smallest details are considered.
Rear Embroidery
The ZANGLANG logo is embroidered at the back center, completing the brand identity.
Material
Made with Korean 16-count twill fabric (100% cotton). Dyed domestically for vivid, long-lasting color with minimal fading. Densely woven for durability and long-term wear.

The inner sweatband uses Korean mesh fabric for superior breathability and comfort, even during long wear.

BRAND
ZANGLANG takes its name from the Korean onomatopoeia "jjaenggeurang."
Like the sound of something shattering, it carries the meaning of a brand that wants to break existing habits of fashion consumption.
ZANGLANG's story begins with an outsider's gaze — a photograph of Joseon, taken in 1904.
A tiger hunter carrying a matchlock rifle,
and the Dancing Girls of Chosen —
captured through a foreigner's lens, at a time when we had no way to tell our own story to the world.
We began ZANGLANG asking a question: can the beauty of that era, once seen only through someone else's eyes, be worn again — this time, in our own way?
