Q. Are lab-grown sapphires imitation stones or fake?

A. No, they are not!
With natural sapphires,The chemical, physical, and optical composition is 100% identical It is a 'genuine gemstone.' Lab sapphire is the only gemstone, along with natural sapphire, that is recognized for its value as a sapphire.

Looking at the already popular case of lab diamonds, there is nowhere that sells lab diamonds by calling them fake diamonds. This is because they are, of course, real diamonds with the same composition as natural diamonds. Likewise, lab sapphires are also real sapphires with the same composition as natural sapphires, but since they are cultivated in a laboratory, we always provide the information that they are 'lab-grown.'

Q. The diamond tester does not react.

A. Lab sapphire is not a diamond but a "sapphire (corundum)," soIt is normal that it does not react to a standard diamond tester. Diamond testers are designed to measure based on the thermal or electrical conductivity of diamonds, so sapphires, which have distinctly different chemical and physical properties, cannot be detected.

Simply put, since "diamond" and "sapphire" are not the same gemstone, sapphires do not react with a diamond signal on a diamond tester.

This applies not only to lab sapphires but also to natural sapphires, as well as other precious stones such as rubies and emeralds. Therefore, the reaction to a diamond tester cannot be used as a standard to determine the authenticity or quality of a sapphire.

Q. What is the difference between synthetic stones and imitation stones?

A. Synthetic stones are 'genuine gemstones' made in a laboratory with the same structure and composition as natural stones.
On the other hand, cubic zirconia, often advertised as 'simulant diamond,' is an imitation stone, in other words, a fake gemstone.

When purchasing jewelry products, unless you are only looking for the 'lowest price,'Be sure to check carefully what kind of gemstone is being set & what materials are being crafted and how. Check thoroughly!

Q. What are the advantages and disadvantages of lab-grown sapphire?

A. You can enjoy top-quality gemstones with 100% identical physical, chemical, and optical properties to natural sapphires, but at a much more reasonable price.
Although it does not have the rarity value of being 'mined from nature' since it is cultivated in a laboratory, it is produced under strict control in the lab, ensuring high-quality and uniform stones. It is also an ethical and sustainable choice, free from issues such as environmental destruction or labor exploitation.

A. Sapphire is a gemstone with a high hardness of '9', but please avoid contact with strong impacts, chemicals, sweat, perfume, and moisture.
After use, it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight and excessive humidity, and to store the item after wiping it with a soft cloth. Friction with other metals or gemstones can cause scratches, so individual storage is best.

Q. Can plated products discolor or peel off?
A. SOLÈNE products are finished with premium 14K gold (10 mils) and rhodium (5 mils) plating, as used in luxury jewelry, but discoloration may occur depending on skin type, storage method, and usage environment.

After use, it is recommended to wipe the product clean and store it in a zipper bag to minimize exposure to air.

Q.What is the exchange and A/S policy?
A. Due to the nature of gemstones, exchanges or refunds for simple change of mind are difficult.
