Why did we choose on-device AI?

At first, we developed it with a different OCR engine.
However, it was difficult to achieve satisfactory results in night streets and dark environments, which are most frequently used by travelers.
So we chose a more difficult but better method.
GoPic runs AI OCR directly on the device.
You can quickly recognize text without sending the captured photo to an AI server.
However, an internet connection is required when checking actual Google ratings and reviews.
