Reason for Wadiz Funding

We believe that basic daily routines like body odor management
should not require applying chemical ingredients to your skin every day.
With this belief, we started this project.

Five years of research at a Hanyang University-affiliated research center,
two published papers, patent registration, and a CES Innovation Award,
as a result, we have completed a new deodorizing solution called PlaDeo.

For those who value innovation, health, and real solutions,
we are presenting it on Wadiz so you can experience it first.We are showcasing it once again on Wadiz.

Q1. What exactly is PlaDeo?ย 
It is an electronic deodorant that neutralizes odor-causing bacteria using patented room-temperature atmospheric pressure plasma technology.
No chemical ingredients are applied to the skin.

Q2. Is it safe?
Yes. The non-contact silicone pad maintains a 10mm distance.
Class II double insulation structure. Ozone 0 ppm.
KTR verification completed (Report No. ECU-2025-004886).

Q3. Is it effective for severe body odor (bromhidrosis)?
In an RB-approved clinical trial with 33 participants from 19 countries,
94% reported a noticeable or significant reduction.
Published in Scientific Reports (2024).

Q4. Can it be used on sensitive skin?
Nothing touches the skin.
No chemicals, no contact.
10mm safety distance, ozone 0 ppm.
Designed for daily use on all skin types.

Q5. How often do I need to charge it?ย 
Up to 150 minutes on a single charge. Usable for about 10 to 20 days depending on the mode.

Q6. Are there any consumables?
No. No cartridges, gel, or spray.
Please use a USB-A charging adapter with 5V/2A specifications,
and only charge with the USB-A โ†” USB-C cable included with the product.

Q7. What is the relationship between PlaDeo and Pragrant?
Pragrant was a prototype in the research stage.
PlaDeo is a consumer product completed through design, safety certification, and clinical verification.

Q8. Is it a medical device?
No. It is a personal hygiene electronic device,
and is not classified as a medical device.
