Maker Introduction

Puttist Co., Ltd. is a golf-specialized company based on piezoelectric sensor technology, established in 2009 to introduce the concept of digital putting meters to the world. While most competing products use optical sensors like the early Golfzon simulators, Puttist uses piezoelectric sensors. The main advantage of piezoelectric sensors is their ability to measure human sensations with infinite precision, as seen in their application to artificial skin. Just as most simulator technologies are now moving from optical sensors to camera sensors, technological advancements are ongoing even at this moment, and the Digipal putting training device continues to evolve.
Dr. Dongguk Kim, the developer and CEO of Puttist, majored in materials engineering at KAIST and earned his Ph.D. in engineering with a thesis on piezoelectric sensor analysis technology. He is a genuine engineer who jokes about making a putting trainer with spaceship technology, but seriously notes that the global market for Digipal putting trainers rivals the added value of spaceships.
Once again, a KAIST Ph.D. who became immersed in park golf after golf, aims to leap forward as a global brand based on the past 15 years, starting this journey together with Wadiz supporters.
From now on, digital putting meters and the sense of standard distance acquired from Puttist come first, rather than actual experience. To announce and verify this fact, we have knocked on Wadiz's door and prepared exceptional Rewards.
Reason for Wadiz Funding

Introduction and dissemination of the digital putting meter for park golf and its usage methods.
Until now, putting practice was considered best done on real greens, as the term 'grass experience' suggests.
A hundred years ago, and even now... Even as space travel becomes reality, it's time to reconsider if that's still true.
If, until now, the sense of putting acquired over long hours on real greens was important, from now on, the standard sense of distance quickly acquired with Puttist should come first.
This standard sense of distance, though on flat ground, becomes the most basic and important weapon for conquering uphill, downhill, fast greens, and slow greens. In fact, our minds are already complicated even without a basic sense of distance on flat ground. Is it uphill? Downhill? Hook break? Slice? These only have true meaning when combined with a standard sense of distance.
More simply, it's illogical to expect to get the sense of distance right on real greens if you can't even do it on flat ground.
Gaining a standard sense of distance on real greens is an extremely difficult process. This is because real greens have uphills and downhills, and the green speed changes every day.
However, since the arrival of Putist Park, the sense of standard distance easily becomes ingrained in your body with just one game per day.
In fact, this is an even more important concept in park golf, where putting and approach shots coexist and the boundaries between them are ambiguous.
Park golf putting is not about feeling, it's about science!
