To add color to the stainless steel, we use a powder coating process. This method involves electrically attaching powder paint to the metal surface, then heating it at a high temperature to melt and cure the coating.

Eco-friendly powder is precisely sprayed without harming the environment, and the typical curing temperature140-180is far exceeded by200-280degrees Celsius, resulting in a high-performance coated stainless steel with greater durability and adhesion after being baked at high temperatures.

The manual powder coating process is a premium finish, often seen only in high-end products.

During manual work, the spray angle, thickness, and position can be delicately adjusted, allowing for uniform and precise application, which greatly enhances surface quality. Especially, even corners and inner curves that are difficult for automatic machines can be coated with precision.

General stainless steel products undergo electrolytic polishing as a finishing process. To describe electrolytic polishing, it's like a public bathhouse. A large number of products can be polished at once!

However, the powder coating process is different. Multiple items cannot be processed at once. Each product must be sprayed individually by an expert, making it a premium process that cannot be compared to electrolytic polishing.

Stainless steel itself has high corrosion resistance, but when powder coating is added, it creates an extra protective barrier.Therefore, it is much more resistant to corrosion than dish racks made of stainless steel alone.

You may have worried that the beautiful white ivory color would peel off easily, but the cured powder is hard and highly resistant to abrasion, so it does not scratch easily. In fact, it protects the stainless steel, which is prone to scratches.

Stainless steel leaves fingerprints even with a light touch, but when the powder coating surface is applied,water stains,fingerprints, dust, greaseare less likely to stick, and even if they do, they can be easily wiped off, making maintenance much easier.

It doesn't stop there—when rolling is performed, the metal stretches and its structure becomes even denser. Jubu Design has created a square shape instead of the usual cylinder, boasting much higher strength.

Especially with multiple rolling and heat treatment processes, its corrosion resistance is greatly improved, making it the perfect stainless steel for kitchen use.

Long utensils like spoons, chopsticks, and ladles are inconvenient when stacked with bowls. That's why we have a custom basket just for long utensils!

EGI water tray

The water tray is coated with EGI (Electro-Galvanized Iron). EGI coating is a process where a thin layer of electroplating is applied to the surface for added protection.

So you don't have to worry about water stains.

With electro-galvanized coating, the zinc oxidizes before the iron, preventing rust. Additionally, the coating makes the surface smoother, so water stains are less likely to stick, keeping it clean.

T-shaped finishing technique

The entire product is finished with a T-shaped technique. If you look closely, it is clearly different from ordinary stainless steel products. The T-shaped technique provides a smooth finish without protruding parts, adding a touch of luxury and enhancing the overall quality.

While ordinary stainless steel is machine-welded, the Thor dish rack is surprisingly welded one by one using argon welding.

Argon welding is done manually, one by one.

Argon welding is a special technique where argon gas prevents the metal from coming into contact with air, resulting in a clean weld line. Since each weld is done carefully by hand, the design is much cleaner.

Therefore, there are no sharp or protruding parts. All wire joints are smoothed by hand,It is smooth without any sharp edges. With premium finishing, it can be used safely.

Precautions

1. Beware of strong impacts.

If you place pots, pans, or similar items down forcefully or hit them, the coating may peel off. Please avoid dropping heavy objects from above.

2. Beware of high temperatures and sudden temperature changes.

If hot water or heated cookware comes into direct contact, the painted surface may become discolored or damaged.

3. Caution when using detergents.

Acidic or alkaline detergents, bleach, baking soda, sodium percarbonate, and citric acid can damage the coating, so please avoid using them. We recommend using neutral detergent and a soft sponge.

4. Recommend natural drying and ventilation.

The water tray of this product is designed with a sloped structure, allowing standing water to drain naturally.

Although it is designed to prevent water from pooling, water droplets or moisture may remain on the surface depending on the usage environment.

In particular, continuous exposure to humid environments or salty conditions (e.g., near the coast, or after washing dishes used for seafood) may accelerate surface corrosion.

For hygienic and safe use, place it in a well-ventilated area and allow it to dry naturally.

5. Beware of scratches and friction.

Please avoid using steel scrubbers, rough sponges, or sharp tools, as they may damage the coated surface.

6. How to handle discoloration

Stains on the surface can be removed by gently rubbing with a soft sponge or a magic block.
