Project_Reconstructing the Theater Space

Not an ordinary play about the process of uncovering the truth in '12 Angry Men'.

People with different beliefs face others and confront themselves within a single space.

From the entrance, the audience receives a ticket in the form of an invitation.

Instead of being mere spectators, they enter the studio—the jury room in the play—as the "13th juror."

"13th juror, please enter the jury room."

The audience is no longer just an observer watching the actors' debates from the seats.

They become beings who share the same time, the same space, and breathe the same air.

The audience may think the performance has not yet begun, but in fact, it has already started.

Entering a single space called the studio, not a traditional stage, with a glass of wine and minimal food.

Some people exchange time with strangers in the space, just like the characters in the play.

The very beginning of this play is the awareness of each other within the same space.

In other words, the boundary between audience and stage is dismantled, sharing a single space—the jury room in the play—and naturally existing in the same moment.

And thus, the play begins.

Certainty, prejudice, and wavering among the jurors, subtle movements, the silence that compels you to follow every process, the sense of distance, gazes, and breaths.

Relationships and inner worlds between people, as they observe a single fleeting moment.

Even after all the actors have exited at the end, the audience is left alone in the space for about a minute, prompting them to reflect on their own.

The moment the door to the space finally opens, the goal is to create an experience that makes the audience question themselves.

Expanding the core psychological themes and prejudices of '12 Angry Men' into a cinematic direction.

A lingering impression after the performance that encourages the audience to continue their own judgments and questions.

Wise Funding Purpose

The theater stage proceeds as a long-term schedule, including setup (stage installation), rehearsals, and actual performances.

Theater venues such as small and large theaters are equipped with basic stage production equipment and have seating for the audience.

There are difficulties in securing the most important studio rental for the project, so we need a lot of support and encouragement from our supporters.

In some ways, it may seem like a reckless challenge, but I believe it can become an infinite challenge!
